It was a great stay. No real complications arose. Will very likely go back if i am in the city of portmore.

Kardel Vacations prides itself with ensuring that all guests feel safe at all times. Our properties have high walls, security doors, CCTV System, Automatic Gates, Panic Alarms with Armed Response and Patrols.
We have upwards of 80% occupancy most times and do not have our clients complaining about their safety. We love hosting our guests and we always look out for our guests at all times.

Pour : The gated security.
Contre : Someone should be located at the property 24/7. Rooms should be cleaned daily, while occupied by a guest.
Emplacement : Located in a community called Edgewater in Portmore, Jamaica. Near to some of the best supermarkets, beaches, night life, churches etc.
Day 1.
There was no representative at the hotel to facilitate check in. Had to wait until someone came.
The room I purchased was still being occupied by someone else.
Day 2
This was for two days. Although I got a nicer room for the period, could not unpack and organize myself for this inconvenience.
Day 3
Paid upfront for cleaning services, but the only cleaning that took place was day 3 just before I got a chance to move in. After the first day of occupying I had to request they come in and scrub the shower. It was really disgusting.
Tissue was being rationed. I had one roll for my two week stay. But I got three towels. I was told this was so that I could hang two over the kitchen window curtains to ensure my privacy.
Day 10
Again there was no one located at the property to facilitate check out. I told them I wanted to leave at 6:30 am, someone came at 7:00am, so I could return the key and get my key remote deposit back. (No refund of the cleaning cost though.)

I want to refute this guests claims as Ms Foster our staff memeber was on site checking in two other guests when this guest arrived on property. He was checked in as soon as he arrived.
He was given 3 towels, 2 tissues. The guest paid $20 for the cleaning that is done after you check out of the property. That is clear in the terms when your booking the property.
The rate paid for the property which is an Apartment and not a fully staffed hotel and this is also made clear and this is one of the main reasons why our prices are this affordable.
This guest paid for a studio and was upgraded to 1 Bedroom Apartment for the first two days as we had someone who had missed their flight and she had a young child and although she was willing to change rooms to the 1 bedroom when we asked the guest he said he would prefer to get the 1 before the 2 days and then switch to the studio which he originally paid for.
In regards to the tissue he was given two rolls for his stay and this would be more than enough for a single male however being that and Foster is on property each and every day and he has the phone numbers for both owners of the property he could easily have requested more if for some reason he needed more.
Ms Foster cleaned his apartment from top to bottom in the middle of his stay free of cost.
The small US$20.00 cleaning cost is for the cleaning of your room when you leave the property and that is why it is not a daily charge.
We treat all our guest with the greatest care and respect and hope that all our guests have a great experience when the stay at any of our 10 Apartments.

There were no apartments at the location given me in the Hotels.com email. When I called Kardel they told me they would send a driver to take me to another site. Two guys arrived and the driver did not even know the name of the site I booked. The other guy seemed to be sizing me up, so I did not go with them. Hotels.com is not working hard to resolve this situation to get my money back.

The guest requested that I meet him offsite, I asked what type of vehicle he was driving and he told me white, no make or model was given. When I arrived at the location that the guest told me to come to I proceeded to give the guest my Drivers License and after both him and the lady reviewed my Drivers License they then drove off.
I tried calling them a few times and they did not answer. The location has the apartment as advertised however this gentleman was not reasonable. We know that the customer is presumed to always be right but there are times that people are unreasonable.
I also operate a security company and ensure that my properties are safe as possible and so I have Automated Gates, Camera Systems and Security Metal Doors Installed for all of my customers safety. As a security professional, security trainer and firearms trainer (NRA & FLA) I was not sizing up or trying to make my Expedia client uncomfortable if anything I was trying to do the opposite and ensure that they were comfortable and felt safe as I offered to meet them at the local Police Station instead of where they proposed to meet.
