I did not get to stay. My reservation was cancelled because I did not call 72 hrs before arrival

Expedia canceled the reservation due to issues with the credit card payment. The card company relayed information regarding inappropriate use of the card. We are unsure why this led to a bad review for the property.

These people cancelled my reservation and rebooked me for another property in a ghetto area without my consent, claiming it was an upgrade while I was on route to Jamaica. Then had the nerve to tell me if I wasn't pleased to just cancel. I arrived in Jamaica having nowhere to stay and now I'm having to fight with them to get my refund. Last time Expedia told me the property manager is denying having done business with me. Be careful, don't trust them.

Expedia made an error and contacted us to see what we could do to help, and we told them they made an error, and we were already booked. They proceeded with relocating you, not us; we are just hosts, and when you pay, Expedia holds the money until you checkout. We do not have the money or authority to relocate you; Expedia did that. I am very sorry that didn't work out well, but that is something between you and Expedia. It is rather unfortunate that you decided to leave this review on our property, and that is correct; we denied doing business with you because we did not do business with you. We received a reservation, which was followed by a phone call to see if we could assist; we informed Expedia that we were unable to assist, and that is all we know about your reservation. We are committed to providing our guests with the best experience possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience or frustration that you experienced.

Everything went smoothly. My host was on time friendly and took me through a proper orientation. Check-in and checkout was easy peasy. I would recommend. I felt so at home, that I was reluctant to fly back to Florida. Thanks Ricardo and crew. God bless you. 🙏

Oakland guest Apartments is a go-to spot for me. Unlike a hotel I can come in town for a week or two have my mother and my sister over for dinner with the full kitchen and spend quality time with my family. The staff is great and very helpful. Once everything is settled at the time of check in its like I have my own house here in Jamaica. I would recommend anyone looking for a place anywhere in Kingston to check this place out.

The spot has to be the most convenient location in all of Kingston. We did not even need the car we rented. We walked to the shop, restaurants, even the barber. The subway sandwich shop is just by the gate and there were a few restaurants that delivered. There is a nice karaoke bar to the west across from the Texaco that on the roof top that we visited on the manager recommendation. Cozy apartment but definitely 5 star for service.

The location was central. Entrance swipe card only worked sometimes.

The property is well maintained and safe. Located within walking distance of stores and restaurants.
You have everything you need inside the unit.
Flatscreen tv, full size fridge and AC in the bedroom.
Wifi is very fast and rooms feel homely.
I would go back again.

Very centrally located apartment

Pour : It is on the main and on the bus route. Chartered cars are easy to get and cheap.
Emplacement : New Kingston, Half Way Tree, Restaurants, Clubs, ATM, Supermarket, JUST EVERYTHING!!!
The apartment was well kept, clean, has everything we needed including, WiFi, AC, hot water, pots and pans to make meals. The management was very professional and on time. The driver picked us up at the airport and he was very informative. The apartment is on Constant Springs Road and it is a quick 3-minute drive to Half way tree. Since it was on the beating path we did not even need a car to get around. The guards were also very helpful and directed us to all the happening places around the city. Wonderful stay, great vacation, I highly recommend this spot to all visitors and locals, I would stay there again.
