3BR/2BA Waterfront Home w/Dock

On the property is a large home with a back wing and front-wing 2-story house. This listing is for rental of a portion of the front-wing 2-story house. There are no shared spaces inside. Guests are welcome to use any amenities on the property including firepit, grilling area, playground, front gardens, and dock.

The first bedroom is located on the groundfloor and features a spacious room with a king size bed. The second bedroom includes a desk and a king size bed with an attached bathroom on the second floor. The third bedroom is a spacious queen size bedroom with a desk and hallway access to the bathroom on the second floor. The first bathroom is on the main floor and the second is on the second floor. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need to prepare food for dinner, lunch by the water, or a picnic. The living room and dining area's have a view of the water if youu want to soak in the views from inside. Outside you'll have access to the dock, a firepit area, playground, and a large grilling area with a charcoal/gas combo grill.

The property is located a short 5 minute walk from Kinsale and Rivah Winery.

The owners of the property may be on-site in the back-wing during your stay. but will not have access to any indoor spaces included in the listing.

- Kayaks are available following completion of a liability waiver.
- Early check-in and late check-out may be available for a fee and based on availability (confirmed one week in advance)
- Pets are permitted with a fee (Up to 2 for $50. Additional pets may be allowed for a fee with approval from hosts)

Absolutely Perfect and Gorgeous!!
This is a first class place to stay! What a view! We were there for a nearby wedding and didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked to. Highly recommend staying here.

Great property and view
We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Kinsale Bliss Cottage. The house was very clean, stocked with necessities and had very comfortable bedding. The property manager, Laura, was very quick to respond to any requests and assisted us with having the kayaks available to take for a paddle. Great view of the water from the property in a very relaxing setting.

This property is a wonderful place to unplug, and take in the sights and sounds of nature. It rained the evening of our first day there, but we could sit on the enclosed porch and look at the river below. The day of our departure we had our breakfast on the porch as well. Wireless is a bit sketchy, but we needed to unplug anyway!

The only thing about this stay that was bad is the little amount of time we were there to enjoy it. Super clean, great comforting set up with plenty to do. Owners communication outstanding. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again for a longer amount of time :)

Kinsale Bliss (more than just bliss)
Quiet beyond compare. I heard ONE plane in our 10 day stay and absolutely no traffic, noise or otherwise. The view from the master bed, day and night, was picture perfect; especially at sunrise and moonrise. Fishing from the dock and kayak in the inlet was relaxing, convenient and satisfying. Cookout and fireside were peaceful moments. Dinner out was relatively cheap and not too far away. BACKDRAFT : American bar and food, LOS PORTALES : Spanish cuisine, NINO PIZZA, and BIG MIKE'S seafood. If you need to escape the rat race, Kinsale Bliss will provide sanctuary.

Peaceful oasis
Kinsale Bliss is located in a quiet riverside residential neighborhood common to the Northern Neck. Sitting on the screened in back porch was so peaceful: watching the water and listening to the birds brought me an instant calm. The house is outfitted with loads of games and activities so it's easy to stay busy if you decide to stay put (we had a family gathering 30 min. away so we weren't at the house much). My only complaint - and admittedly it's unique to my family - is that the shower is REALLY small. My husband is 6'6" and daughter is 5'11" so they struggled in the small space but it was an inconvenience we could easily overlook. I also appreciated that the owners allowed us to bring our fur babies. They both enjoyed the porch and our Lab especially enjoyed swimming in the river.

Tranquil Cottage
A more serene spot would be hard to find! The cottage sits above a quiet cove of the Yeocomico River (can only speak to the mid-September!) A favorite feature has to be the screened porch as it was the perfect spot to spend an evening. As for the interior, there is a large living room/dining area, nicely appointed kitchen and two bedrooms of fair size. Be forewarned that the shower is tight for folks of large physique’s- just not much room to turn around. But the shower head can be easily maneuvered. We would definitely return and also recommend it to family and friends.

Great location with extra special touches
A spacious home with a view of the water! This Kinsale cottage was impeccable and appointed in a lovely style. Standout features - a mini bar with snacks and drinks; coffee; bedtime chocolates; tons of table and sitting space; lovely outdoor space with fire pit, chairs, dock; and cleanliness. This cottage has room to serve as a retreat location for 6+ people (although only 2 bedrooms). I highly recommend!

Incredible stay in Kinsale
I will admit that we didn't spend a ton of time at this property as we were nearby hosting a company retreat. But when we were here, everything was perfect! A ton of space, probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever been in, all of the amenities you would ever need, great communication from Laura, and a beautiful view of the water. We will be back!

Wonderful place to stay!
I really enjoyed my stay at the guest house. I was there on business and needed a place I could bring my dogs with me. It was very peaceful, quiet, and so very cozy. I enjoyed the view of the river from the sunroom. Of the evening the fish would jump and play. I loved it. My one and only disappointment was the lack of yard maintenance. Other than that it was perfect. The master bed was amazing and the sheets are better than any hotel sheets I have ever slept on. I would love to know what kind they are and where I can get some! The house was perfectly cleaned! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place!!

Great Place for 2 Grand Daughters
My wife and I took our two grand daughters (age 4 and 6) for a few days of relaxation on the river. I took the girls out on our Sit on top kayak and we swam at the "Pirate" beach at the end of the cove and tried fishing (no luck, no patience!). They liked sharing their bedroom and having a TV each so they could watch what they wanted. We had a campfire one night but enjoyed the AC to sleep at night. Very nice place, highly recommend.

Secluded and Comfy
The property is as described, cozy and comfortable / secluded with adequate kitchen and very comfy beds / couch. Did not use the laundry facilities. The shower works but the hot water pressure was very weak for us - we could either have the water be warm, or under pressure but not both. So the shower was a trickle; if you really need a hot, forceful shower just expect you might not get that here. Otherwise a nice stay.

Peaceful, Comfortable, Relaxing & Rejuvenating.
We completely enjoyed our trip, the peace, serenity and beauty is unrivaled and was the perfect balm to reconnect / rejuvenate ones soul with nature. Great quality time with Family... From sunrise to sunset glistening on the water, to the birds singing and the pleasure of just being able to sit, listen and soak in such beauty was amazing. The cottage was a gem, very comfortable, clean, reasonably priced and well maintained. We will definitely be looking forward to visiting again. Fantastic Getaway
We decided to book this property to get away from the city to photograph the Geminids meteorite showers. The place is beautifully decorated, has everything you need plus more. Such a serene property we relaxed, enjoyed the firepit cooked great meals in a fully equipped kitchen and watched the geminids give their light show.
