Maison très confortable près du charmant centre ville

Équipement moderne et opérationnel.
Centre ville colorée avec beaucoup de restaurants et quelques boutiques en quelques minutes à pied.
Quelques promenades pour grands et petits marcheurs avec de belles vues sur les collines verdoyantes donnant sur la rivière et la mer.

Excellent séjour

Its in a very convenient location.
Unfortunately the inclement weather didnt allow us to take advantage of the patio and garden spaces.

Pleasant Stay…..but only just !

Basically it was too firm and we needed to supplement the mattress to make it softer. Also we found that the microwave was not working…just before dinner one evening. It showed every sign of operating…but not cooking !!!
The patio needs to be replaced due to loose slabs…
The property is beginning to feel it’s age.. Homely, but not great value !!!
Entry/exit to the property is near impossible at school start/finishing times because of indiscriminate parking by parents who are either dropping off or picking up their children. The double yellow lines have no effect.
Kinsale itself is looking jaded when compared with other tourist towns nearby.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay in Kinsale. We are sorry that you didn't like the town, inspite of it being one of the most popular tourist towns in the South of Ireland. The nearby award winning school does bring some traffic at drop off and going home time but no-one has complained about lack of access before. We find peoples preferences vary with regard to bed firmness. During our own stays at the house we find it perfectly comfortable. Thank you for highlighting the possible problem with the microwave. We have asked our change-over lady to test it and if required, to replace it.

Nice place but some issues
Publié le 19 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at the house for 2 days. There were issues at the house that impacted our health so we moved to another location. The owner was very gracious and respectful and refunded the money.
The house is a great location close to town centre. It has all that you need- full kitchen, living room, several bedrooms, two bathrooms and an expansive garden. The owner was easy to work with. He plans to address the issues we noted in his house.
Once that is corrected, I would recommend this as a great place to stay!

Well Mike. I really don't know what to say about your mixed review. Originally, you booked to stay at the house. You then cancelled due to health issues. A few weeks later you rebooked and said your health issues weren't so bad now.
In the review, you say that there were issues at the house that impacted your health. I was obviously seriously concerned so I sent my maintenance man in immediately and asked him to have a careful look around and put right anything that he found. After his inspection he found a small area that could do with improvement but nothing so serious that would be detrimental to a person's health. Nevertheless, he carried out the work. The reviews that I have received from other people have been very favourable. To say that I was surprised when I heard about your issues is an understatement. I have never had any problems of that nature in over 21 years of renting out the house for holidays.

Would stay again. Clean ironed bedding. Family bathroom looks newly refurbished. En suite could do with the same treatment. Would recommend.
