This condo has one of the best locations in The Meadows. Located on the corner, the extra window features a view of Thimble Peak where you can even get a glimpse of Chair 10 and 6. Perfect for a small family or couple traveling on a budget, this home away from home has a queen bed, twin over twin futon bunks, and a small kitchen with dining for 4. Other features include a wood burning fireplace, private balcony with mountain views, and a brand new 32” flat screen tv with SMART Wi-Fi technology. A ski locker is available too.

Very clean, easy check in. It was convenient that the room was at the end of the hall, across from the stairs to the garage. Then the assigned parking spot is right at the bottom of the stairs.

Great little place, stellar location
Apartment was cute and in the perfect location. Check in was a breeze and parking was super convenient. The place wasn’t super clean- I found trash under the bed, dirty dishes in the cabinets, some visible dust and cobwebs BUT it is well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the location can’t be beat. Would stay here again.

Great place
The condo was very cozy and conveniently located. It’s a quick walk to the lifts, and just a few steps to the cross country ski course. We loved the hot tub, and the lobby area was also nice. The bed was comfy, but if you’re traveling with someone who tosses and turns at night, it might wake you if you are a light sleeper.

Overall it was very nice. Cleaning crew was slammed from previous renters, so not 100% ready when we arrived but close. Perhaps a few items could use some maintenance, other than that had a great time.

Ski week stay
We stayed here during ski week. It is a bit of a walk to the lift for sure - but the unit was clean and kitchen had everything you needed. Our daughter gave the bunk a thumbs up. I wish I would have known there was a crock pot and blender - I would have shipped differently (no groceries in KW). The internet however was a huge issue. It was a basic “hotel” kind of set up but we could not get connected for calls and school. We could not connect. There is plenty of firewood down stairs and you should get fire starters in your room. We had to ask for them (someone in the garage told Me about them) but the property manager brought us some. Otherwise a clean, but small and dated condo. The closet is taken up with extra items and cleaning supplies so not a lot of space to put bags etc. it’s good for a couple or a small family for a couple days!

Nice unit with great amenities
My traveling partner and I truly enjoyed staying in this unit. The kitchen was well-equipped with all of the utensils one would need for cooking meals. The unit was clean and quiet. Parking was included, located in the garage on the lower level. Our favorite part was the working fireplace--it created such a nice, relaxing ambiance after a long hike in the area. Our one complaint was that the bed was a little uncomfortable.

Great little studio
This is a perfect place for 1-2 people (or a couple with a young child) to spend a few days. Everything is comfortable (though the bunks are pretty narrow for an adult). The kitchen is small but surprisingly well-furnished. And the balcony is a nice touch. I'd stay there again.

Okay Property
This property is in a fantastic building with garage parking which is great. We have stayed in the Meadows building many times but this unit needs updating. Thankfully I didn’t plan to cook anything fancy while here for 2 nights. The refrigerator is very small and virtually no freezer space. We kept our ice chest out on the balcony. The stove is very old and we had to light the gas with a match. Several times while cooking on only 1 burner the flame would just go out and we had to re-light it. There is also no protection next to the stove at the wall (ie-tile, metal, etc...). Just drywall next to a gas stove which is not safe in my opinion. So we used only one burner and did our best. There is also a loose board on the patio which makes it a little unsafe for walking out there. We will not rent this unit again. We were disappointed with the updates that are needed for the price. The unit could also use some hooks on the wall to hang up ski clothes that need to dry out a little. Having an extra window on the end wall made for nice light in the unit and the bed was comfy. But other than that I wouldn’t recommend this property.

Ruff start but great location
I had spoken with the property management company and asked for an early check in but was denied. Then when I got there several hours after check in time there was no instructions sent and they did not have my reservation saved when calling in. This matter was rather quickly resolved but frustrating none the less. Great location and there is storage locker with wood for the fireplace on site which was really nice.

Condo is cozy. Just enough room for 2 people. 4 people would be ok if 2 are young children. Lots of hiking , biking, fishing, kayaking in the summer, but the resort was shut down. Don’t know if always like that in summer or if covid related. Glad there was a kitchen! Be sure to bring groceries.

Doorkey instructions need updating
Hi, to access this unit please place your hand over the electronic lock on the door to activate it so it will let you enter in the access code. This key piece of information was missing from the check-in instructions so I had to call the 24-hour maintenance number to learn this. If I didn't have a cell phone signal or my phone was dead then my family and I would have been sleeping on the couches in the unheated common area. Rest of our stay was ok. It seemed overpriced for a studio, but the view of the mountains out the window is fabulous, and I was able to go on two hikes right out the door (highly recommended). One hike was in the meadow and the other was up the slope to the top of the Solitude Lift. Beautiful!

My family and I have stayed in a few places in the Meadows at Kirkwood. This space seemed spacious for a little studio. Had everything we needed and we would certainly book it again. The skiing and riding never disappoint.
