Not good and humiliating
Publié le 26 févr. 2020 sur Hotels
I booked a room at Kisoro Tourist Hotel through the hotels.com online service on February 15th and paid with a visa card $ 53.
When I arrived on February 15 at the hotel they met me and arranged me well. But wai-wai worked very poorly.
The next morning, the manager told me that my money for accommodation did not go to their account from hotels.com, so until he figured it out he would not let me go. I stood for almost 3 hours until they got through to hotels.com and figured out. It is very not good and humiliating when you honestly pay your money and go through such suspicious procedures.

Pour : The staff was friendly and helpful and the meals were good. The grounds are large, open and pleasant and are a nice place to relax.
Contre : A great many maintenance items need to be corrected. The rooms could be a lot cleaner.
Emplacement : We were visiting people in Bunagana in the Congo and the hotel is only a few miles from the border. Mgahinga National Park is only 45 minutes away.
The hotel is fundamentally okay, but maintenance has been poor. For example, the screen above the balcony door in the room had holes in it where mosquitos could easily get in. The staff is friendly and helpful, but speaks very little English. The cook prepared good meals, but a long wait (about an hour) was necessary. If maintenance and cleanliness were greatly improved, it could be a nice place to stay.
