Thankyou very much for taking the time to comment on your recent stay with us at Minette Bay Lodge, up here in Kitimat and for awarding your experience five stars for breakfast and your room. We hope too that you enjoyed dinner as much as your fellow guests.
Our one km gravel access road is graded regularly so we're surprised and sorry if you found it rough for your 4x4 vehicle. Perhaps you'll find it improved the next time you stay.after it soon receives resurfacing attention from Ledcor.

We thoroughly enjoy looking after those that are happy to travel just slightly off the beaten track to Kitimat's very private ocean shorefront, working to make all comfortable and well fed at this haven before taking on the busy world again.

Beautiful accommodations in a private location

Pour : We enjoyed absolutely everything at this location
Contre : I couldn't think of anything that should be improved.
Emplacement : For us, Kitimat offered lots of trails and hiking opportunities, exploring around marinas and R&R. The town itself has basic shops, no boutiques here
The Minette Bay Lodge is a wonderful place for an amazing getaway. Our hosts, Howard and Ruth, are lovely people who want to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are all top notch. Our king suite was well appointed, the bed was so comfortable and having a sofa and fireplace in the room made it cozy beyond words. The breakfasts were substantial and made with care and attention to detail. Plenty of cozy places within the common area of the lodge to sit and relax and curl up in front of a fireplace. Outdoors, they have developed meandering trails and even a few suspension bridges throughout the property that make for great photo opportunities let alone a pleasurable walk in the woods. There is access to the water but timing can be affected by tide levels but there is plenty to explore in the meantime. Overall, we would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Minette Bay Lodge for the lovely stay.

Emplacement : The property is large. Lots to explore.
Our stay at the Minette Bay Lodge was very positive. Our room was clean and beautiful. The lodge was welcoming and felt like home; a fancy home.
