Overall nice, but some issues

Ceiling lights/fan in bedroom
Would have been nice to have waste baskets in rooms
Note big trash bag needed for kitchen bin
Recycling
Hot water and showers were ample, appreciated the toiletries
Lots of books, puzzles (some missing pieces) games
Domino sets no complete
Very full tv/streaming options
Broken slats in under bed
Microwave not fully functional
Stove light
Stove has nice griddle
Nice vacuum cleaner considering sand
Ample furniture
Food Lion good every day groceries and veggies, Publix mostly prepackaged
Not 4 min walk to sound as advertised

Great house and neighborhood
Posted Sep. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayVery nice and quiet area. House was very accommodating for cooking and entertainment. Having Roku on every TV was a bonus and we really enjoyed the grill and big yard. Also, great AC in the house as well.

Great Location
Posted Jul. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayThe location was the best thing about this home. Perfect for anywhere you want to go on the Outer Banks. It was spacious and accommodated our group of 8 very well. Note that the home does not have a dishwasher even though pods were left on the kitchen counter by house keeping. There were only 4 forks so we had to ask for more which the management company dropped off the next day. We also had to ask for more washcloths because we each were provided one for our stay. There was also only one trash bag for the kitchen trash can. A few minor things but overall the stay was pleasant.

As listed but not clean
Posted Oct. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayThe size & layout of the house was as listed. However, the house was not clean, there were two bags of laundry laying in front of the steps to the house, cobwebs in several places & clutter everywhere, there was a light switch and outlet in the living room missing plates, trash under the furniture & beds, floors were not clean. Lid to trash can was broken and the toilet seat in the master bathroom was cracked. We did not have a parking pass for the private access to the beach nor were bikes available as listed. We contacted Vacasa rentals & provided pictures. They sent someone out to clean while we were out having lunch. It was slightly cleaner when we returned but trash still under furniture. Darren, a Vacasa employee dropped by mid-week to drop off a quilt. My husband showed him the missing light switch and outlet covers and the laundry laying in front of the house. Darren picked up the laundry and the came back later that day to replace the missing plates and brought over the parking passes that we were told on Tuesday we have to drive 30 minutes away to Corolla to pick up. On a scale of 1-5, I would give Vacasa 3 stars, but I would give Darren 5+.

Turtle Pond House
Posted Aug. 25, 2022 on HomeAwayWe loved the retreat at Turtle Pond. It was quiet, comfortable, and exactly as described. Not only that, but most things that we needed were completely furnished and there were kayaks and bicycles even to use. I'd recommend this property and hope that I will get to stay there again in the future!
