Family weekend
Publié le 29 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in town to visit our niece who attends the University of Tennessee The flat had everything we needed and was a short Uber to campus,Gay St, and Market Square. The communication about check in and check out was most excellent. Thank you

Super loud and homeless all within a block
Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayCute little historic home but neighborhood sketchy. A man was burning something one night in the adjoining parking area and we both had to shower, as we smelled like we had been to a bonfire.
My husband walked one block and the homeless asked for money. They had an app where you could download white noise for sleeping better, but I knew why that was on first night. There is some major repaving going on a block or two from our stay and we listened to it all night.I do wish this and the homeless issue had been disclosed to us in advance. It was hard to get a hold of the host as I am not on the app and I had to sign in but forgot my password. Also a lightbulb in tv room needs to be replaced as it constantly flickers. We unscrewed it so we could watch tv. Lastly, I was told to use black wash cloths to remove makeup, but why was only one left for me? Things were a bit inconsistent. There were some old beautiful and historic homes nearby, but the homeless were all over the place. We are not used to that and we found it to be a very different experience. Just wish I had known about it all.

Home away from home
Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI unexpectedly had to stay in Knoxville for a week with my son who is attending UT and this apartment exceeded my expectations. It is conveniently located and the property is so nicely decorated. I felt at home. And it is really nice to have an assigned parking spot. The host is super communicative. I would definitely recommend this property. And would stay here again.

Fantastic stay

Girls Antiquing weekend
Publié le 20 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse was perfect for our group of 4. Located in a quiet neighborhood, short drive to the old city and market square. House was very clean, well decorated and stocked with all the essentials (body wash, shampoo, etc). Host sent several emails prior to check-in and during stay, even a list of suggested restaurants and activities while in town. Would definitely stay again!!
