Great Central Place to Stay
Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely accommodation and central for many attractions in this part of the country. The Barn is in a peaceful area and it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted.
Adam was an exemplary host making sure we had everything we needed and were happy with the accommodation. Couldn't have asked for more.

Plenty of books to read while enjoying the birdsong and relaxing in this wonderfully tranquil location.

Found property easy with good directions given the day before we arrived. Great facilities and a very well appointed property with everything we needed for our stay, easy check in and out process, would definitley stay there again.

Lovely Little hidaway

Quiet in the evenings but woken early both days of our stay as on the climb out flight path from Manchester Airport. Fine if you are used to being near airports. Breakfast very basic, and an extra handtowel would have been nice. Paid a cleaning charge but then was expected to strip the beds and empty all the bins. Hosts were warm and friendly
Overall, a good experiance, just a couple of little niggles which didn't really spoil the experience.

Beautiful setting and lovely interior finishes
Breakfast provisions with fresh eggs , bacon , preserves , bread , milk and cereal was extremely welcome
Magically stay and wonderful hosts
We left an item behind and they located it for us promptly and were very helpful in making arrangements for my sister ( who lives nearby ) to collect it

A lovely week spent at Oak Barn

Quiet Country Peaceful Getaway

Very pleasant owners who supplied fresh eggs, bacon, ilk etc for breakfast on day of arrival. No hesitation in re-visiting. Well recommended.
