Peaceful and friendly
Publié le 21 févr. 2017 sur HotelsGood welcome when we arrived and very friendly service. Only small criticism was lack of privacy from the shared terrace, had to have curtains shut, and a poor sliding door to the toilet. Everything else was great.

Highly recommend staying here!

Upmarket and well serviced, welcoming lodge

The location is convenient (being just behind the Knysna golf course on the way to the 'Heads') but yet so tranquil and restful with rich bird life and calming views. It was a bonus to have a swimming pool, especilly for our pre-teen kids. The manager was very hospitable and attentive. She was flexible with organising us an early breakfast, and the food was great. The lodge offers a spacious, modern and excellently maintained environment. Due to the peaceful and upmarket atmosphere it may not work for families with young, loud and rowdy kids or toddlers. Offers DSTV, but not the full package. We had a wonderfull stay and I definitely recommend this accomodation to fellow travellers.
