Great property and great room. Provided an upgraded room. But the trails are not accessible and available. Staff was poor… front staff tried to overcharge and did not offer an apology when the mistake was pointed out.

The property was quiet and bathrooms were good. Staff - Ramji, Rahine and Muthukumaran (all restaurant staff) were particularly good in service and courtesy.
Bad - the food choices weren't good for vegetarians, not much of south Indian dishes for a restaurant located in deep south India. Room service was below average.
Overall, too pricey for the quality of stay.

Awesome stay with MOM in KODAI.

Resort in quiet location, with amazing view.
Publié le 1 mai 2018 sur HotelsThis hotel is located in a quiet hill side in Kodaikanal. A little difficult to find at night time, look for signs! The rooms are spacious, very nice and fantastic view. The access to the cottages is steep, but they offer a ride if you want. The food in the restaurant is good and taste as good as it looks.

Quite a tough walk up and down but can’t complain as it’s kodaikanal. This could be the reason for slightly slow room service at times. I’m sure the staff will be dead tired climbing uphill so many times a day. The road to the hotel is not proper, mostly dirt road. So you need a good vehicle (and a good stomach to withstand the bumpy ride) to access the hotel. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Makes you feel like you are on top of the hills.
