Emplacement : Le safari è est à faire , mais faut tomber sur un bon pilote pour ne pas être tres secouer
Endroit sympa , les chambre jolie équiper de moustiquaires, mais comme il y a des gros troue dans les murs des chambres les moustiques sont constamment la , les moustiquaire trouer . La salle de massage tres sal et envahie de moustique, bref les prestations en générale tres cher pour la qualitée, sinon les petits déjà et le restaurant tres bien

No Service Hotel
Publié le 30 juill. 2018 sur HotelsHotel seems to be too old. However, you can still enjoy the atmosphere as well as the nice large swimming pool.
If you're likely to have a good service don't go there because there is no service at all. Even from start, no welcome, no smile, no restaurant service nothing. Just a ghost hotel as we feel. Staff must be letting down the hotel. Probably, the lack of training.

Run down charter hotel
Publié le 11 févr. 2018 sur HotelsA run down charter hotel. Dirty room, leaking toilet and lots of bugs in the room. Cockroaches in the dining area and lots of flies in and around the cheap buffet. The beach is calm with a lovely sunset, but it’s dirty.

A decent hotel....
Publié le 26 sept. 2016 sur ExpediaFor the price, this hotel is ok. To start with, the front office guy told us clearly not to leave any valuables in the room. That's because there is no safe in the room.
The room is basic but clean. Do not expect any frills. Got a mini fridge, a kettle and tea coffee.
The washroom was clean, but superficial. Towels seemed clean till we turned them over. They were definitely laundered but stained.
The staff were very hospitable and that made up for a lot.
Breakfast was substantial but in that stretch you can get better.
Overall, if you're on a strict budget, the place is fine. If you are flexible there are better places.

The worst hotel in which I had to rest.

2. Bathroom survived a nuclear war, all stains, rust, dirt.
3. In the room there was no TV, although reservations have been written that he should be our question constantly told that tomorrow will bring, but never brought.
4. Lunch consisted of two dishes, rice and chicken.
5. Local people are arrogant, constantly trying to cheat you, wherever you go, they always roll back 20-50% of the money.
6. I saw how they were fighting for the tourists, it is not correct for Buddhists, they are always drunk.
7. Worst country in which I visited, I have been in over 30 countries and had more 100 visits.
8. I do not recommend this country, and the more I never go there.

Pour : With few exceptions, the staff are fantastic. Sri Lankans are some of the nicest people in the world.
Contre : Most facilities and services need upgrading. Senior MGMT of this chain of hotels desperately need training on what it means work in the industry.
Emplacement : There is nothing in the immediate vicinity though several southern towns, beaches and attractions are 15-30 minute tuk-tuk rides away.
First, a bit of context. I've never gotten around to writing reviews though I've long intended to. These are very helpful to travelers like myself so I regret having waited so long. I've been to Sri Lanka before. The country is wonderful and its people are the best. This is in no way meant to reflect on Sri Lanka. I've really enjoyed my experiences here and I can't wait to go back. The Long Beach Resort is one of 3 or 4 Koggala properties run by the same management. I've now stayed at 2 of these properties and they are both decidedly substandard. Each of these is a star less than listing. The rooms and their facilities are quite old, often grimy or dingy. There are few sad toiletries. Housekeeping is abysmal to the point where even after specifying requirements, sheets will not be cleaned, glasses replaced or water provided etc. If you need to work while traveling like I do, you're out of luck with their wifi, which has little bandwidth. Food is only available at this one hotel for any time between 9:30PM and 7:30AM. So if you are checking in late, or up and about otherwise, you may well be stuck without decent food or much water. What really threw me over the edge was the fact that a waiter and his manager had a tantrum about refilling our water bottles at this "resort." We wanted not to waste plastic or money. There are no water filters and one may not ask to be refilled, it seems. We felt completely hustled. You will get much better quality for your money elsewhere.

Unfortuanly, the bathroom was not really clean. We came in and saw an dead crab in the shower! The bed was to soft for me. The pool is very nice and big enough for a swim.
