Tromperie sur la marchandise
Publié le 9 janv. 2016 sur HotelsEtablissement situe sur une plage magnifique avec du personnel de service très gentil. MAIS aucun entretien réalisé dans cette bâtisse vieillissante au design passe, et personnel incompétent (manque évident de formation).
L'ensemble fait que les tarifs proposés sont bien au dessus du niveau de prestation de cet hôtel.
A noter qu'il n'y a pas de salle de sport et qu'il faut en fait aller dans un autre hôtel bien loin de celui -ci.

Property is a nice place. The service was very slow and bad. Checked in and was told there is a power failure, power will be up in 20mins and after an hour, power is not up yet. Checked in the room for stay with my sister, was only given one bath towel in the room. There is no amenity (shower gel n shampoo) TOP up on day 2. When we went to the pool and the beach, ask for pool/beach towel and was told they have run out of beach towel, ask for bathe towel instead and never arrive. Wifi was very weak despite there is the wifi box just outsides the room.

I had a great time. Most of the people there were very friendly. The food was good. The ocean was amazing to see. At night the ocean was crushing down so hard sometimes hard to sleep. But overall the resort and the site were good

Pay for a 4-star hotel and get a 3-star experience
Publié le 21 janv. 2019 sur HotelsThis is definately not a luxury hotel so it would be unfair to compare it to that standard, but they do almost charge luxury rates, so I would expect the standard to be higher.
Let's start with the good things. Location location location. It can't get any better. It is brilliant if you can cope with the sound from the waves all night.
The things that can be improved: Condition of the rooms. They need a total make over. The TV barely showed to or three local channels but the reception was horrible. The buffé, although not bad, was definitely not one of the better I have had in Sri Lanka. The front desk was very helpful, and the rest of the staff were friendly albeit sometimes the service was very slow. WIFI coverage was both questionable as well as slow.
In Summary: Pay for a 4-star hotel and get a 3-star experience. The location though is to die for.

Pour : direct aan het strand
Contre : onderhoud kamers, schone strandlakens (worden hergebruikt en niet gewassen)
Emplacement : Op redelijke afstand van Galle wat goed per openbaar bereikbaar is (RP 30,- per rit)
Het hotel is redelijk, onderhoud is moeilijk in zo'n natte, zilte omgeving.
Veel russen en chinezen.
