This hotel says it is 4 star hotel. I would definitely not agree. The location is beautiful nature area near the water but the property is in serious need of attention. The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. No A/C in Denmark is normal but what I don't understand is, if you KNOW everyone will have to open the windows, why wouldn't they have screens so you don't have flies/mosquitos etc. in your room and bathroom? And, since a hotel room doesn't allow for cross breeze, a simple fan would be nice. Bed was not the worst I slept on in Denmark (that award goes to the high priced hotel in Copenhagen) but still way too firm (aka like sleeping on the floor). For the price, I expected much more.

The Comwell Klarskovgaard as a hotel is in a very beautiful setting, just a short walk to the beach amid woods and open fields. But it is lacking in any storage space for clothing except for a few hangers for shirts: no hangers for pants, no drawers or shelves. This may be a modern trend in hotels, but it does not serve its guests well. Another guest arrived at a time when no one was available to greet her at reception. The hotel had sent her an email indicating the limited times available for checking in, but the email was only sent on the day of arrival. There was absolutely no staff available on the premises to provide assistance. This is unacceptable. Every hotel should have some staff available on site at all times in case of emergency.

Good hotel, nice location. Functional bathroom. room well equipped. Missing: no hangers for trousers and hand-wash without bulb. - so not very practical. Breakfast perfect.

Has its limitations.
Nice clean hotel with fabulous staff. Rooms small but adequate. The only down side is the restaurant which is limited to only one choice of starter, main and desert. Therefore if you are vegetarian you may go hungry. There is nothing around the hotel which makes dining more challenging. The hotel is geared towards conferencing hence the menu limitations. I would stay here again for one or two nights.

Easy parking and great service from rec. Roms are small and looks better on pictures I guess ok when it comes to value for money But nothing more Really low season visit for this place so I guess not a superrate Breakfast is top class Dinner is in the Restuarant ( No good meny ) or stay sober and drive the 10-15 minuters to city ( cab is 80-100$ 2ways ) Will go back for a 10-20% lower price

Vi havde booket et familieværelse. Vi havde nogle dage forinden ringet og fortalt at vi ville ankomme sent. Vi fik et dobbelt-værelse (105) længst væk fra receptionen i en fløj med mødelokaler og hvad vi gætter på var personale køkken. På gangen ved siden af dobbeltværelset var der lavet en opredning i er mødelokale uden lås på døren eller gardiner for vinduerne. Vi kontaktede receptionen og fortalte at vi undrede os over at vi ikke havde fået det familieværelse vi havde bestilt og at vi faktisk manglede en seng. Vi fik at vide at der havde været et stort arrangement og alle familieværelser var booket til dette, men de skulle nok komme og lave en extra opredning. Det gjorde de så. Ved udtjekning gjorde jeg opmærksom på at jeg virkelig ikke synes vi havde fået det vi havde bestilt og at det var højst utilfredstillende at børnene skulle sove i et seperat mødelokale, uden lås på døren og uden gardiner. Hertil svarede receptionisten blot at der aldrig havde været gardiner på det værelse (!) Jeg forstår slet ikke at I kan tillade jer at tage +2000 kr for sådan en overnatning. Vi vil dog gerne rose køkkenet og personalet i restauranten.
