We are generous with our rating due to exceptional staff and an amazing New Year party. Our first impression was poor as we got dirty bathroom with urine marks over the toilet and dirt/webs/bug nest behind the tub. The property is old and the age is visible. Serious upkeep is required to merit the premium Dusit name charges. We had booked a king bed and it was two queen beds put together. Additionally, rooms are not well lit and very odd switch placement, which could have been a result of two queen bets pushed together. Overall I would not recommend this property at its 5 star price point.

We absolutely loved our 5 nights at Dusit Thani! We spent most of our time in Krabi at the resort because it was so wonderful! The grounds , pools and beaches were spectacular! We loved the variety of places to enjoy the sun and beaches....poolside, the grassy grove, platforms above the beach and chairs right on the beach! The breakfasts at on site restaurant, Mangosteens, were delicious with amazing variety! Our room was comfortable and we appreciated the comfy beds and fridge in room. Finally, the staff was friendly and gracious! Would definitely return!

Older property but rooms that we stayed at were beautifully updated. Grounds with two pools were gorgeous. Service was wonderful. The breakfast buffet plentiful and varied. The on site resort restaurants were quite good although I would not recommend the beef. Beach was wonderfully clean and private.

This is a gem of a resort with the most beautiful grounds and oceanfront beach. The rooms are spacious, the pools excellent and staff extremely friendly and attentive. We traveled with extended family and our 4 and 6 yr old grandkids lived in the pools. Very safe and oh so fun. All of our meals were delicious. The inexpensive massages right near the beach were excellent!!

Beautiful place, loved the breakfast and private beach and bathtub in the room. 24 hr room service. Negatives are no air conditioning in any common areas. If you're checking out and have time to kill, there is nowhere to have a drink and chill. You just sweat and are uncomfortable.

Amazing property! So well kept and maintained. The staff are the best hotel staff we've met in the world! The beach is fantastic, and very clean. You can't really see it much in the photos, but honestly the hotel beach was one of the best to swim in, even in comparison to Ao Nang, Railay, Phi Phi and Hong Island. The two infinity pools; both facing the ocean are absolutely beautiful. The cocktail hour at Breeze Bar is a must. Most of all, we truly enjoyed the company of the lovely and friendly staff and the guests! If you're coming to Krabi, you MUST stay here.
