Getting away

No beach at high tide
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe end of the complex, by Fort Fischer, has sandbags right up against the beach row units. The end where this unit is has only 30 feet of beach at high tide with no way to walk down the beach towards the pier except at low tides. Everyone is crammed into a little strip of sand. I’m not sure how they are even renting that front row.

Thank you for staying with us! Unfortunately, all oceanfront homes and condo complexes experience the effects of erosion. Carolina and Kure Beach should be receiving beach renourishment in the coming year or so to help alleviate these issues. We hope you still enjoyed your stay with us and will keep us in mind for future beach stays!

Tropical Storm Debby
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayUnfortunately we arrived shortly before tropical storm Debby and had to leave after only a couple of days. Pros: The location is great! The condo was spotless and has a beautiful view!
Cons: The furniture and kitchen amenities are tired and could use a refresh. We may not have been bothered by that as much if we weren't spending so much time inside during our brief stormy stay.

Fantastic
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved our stay. The condo was the perfect size for a couple and it was so close to the ocean! It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved having the option of a pool on the one day that the beach was too windy for comfort.
The host was super communicative and everything was as smooth as possible. We would happily stay here again.
