Perfectly Spacious and Close to a TON

The home was quite spacious for what we were looking for, and right where we needed it to be for our anniversary adventure! Would book it again!

Clean but sparse.

Furnishings a little sparse and mismatched. Living room only has one sectional coach. Large vacant area could have used more chairs. Dining room table small with 4 mismatched chairs. Washer was full of dirty linens and towels, which were damp. Dryer had a bed linen in it and dryer lint trap so full door wouldn’t close. TV had fire stick with no instructions on how to use it. May be ok for younger generation but older folks struggle. It was too hot to sit outside but there was no available chairs if we wanted to.

Great place, close to Austin. Found a gem.

We had no idea what we were getting when we booked it. It’s in a secluded neighborhood about 30 minutes south of Austin. There is a Poco Loco Super Mercado near by. Restaurants and other activities are within 10-15 minutes. Easy to get to and a great place to hang after a day out in Austin. Definitely recommend.

Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed the stay overall! The first night was a rough start since there was a wifi outage in the neighborhood, and service is very spotty in the area. But that was out of the owners control, wifi was back on first thing the second day. Only thing we recommend as a group is some outdoor furniture for the back yard. Super nice place overall !

Perfect stay for a quick river trip

Came into town to float the river. The house was only 10mins from a popular floating location. Was easy to grab a couple of Ubers. Good house to stay the night with friends and quite neighborhood. Would stay again if in town for the river.

Responsive host

The host was very responsive very friendly and informative. The house was just like the pictures. The neighborhood was very nice and safe. Parking was tight but the host told us we could park on the road. If you have dogs there are some hole in the front of the fence. The house was clean the mattresses could use some foam pads or something. Over all we enjoyed our stay and the host was very friendly and responsive.

Bad experience!

I am unable to evaluate the property since we never saw it. I only gave it stars because I could not post this without completing each question The Saturday we were to check in I never received any instructions to get into the property. (check in time was 4pm) we had to be at a rehearsal dinner at 5 pm thus I hastily got rooms at a local Best Western in Lockhart. Sometime in the late afternoon I received a message from owner indicating we could not check in until 7pm and shortly after that another message saying it would be closer to 7:30 pm. The owner said instructions to get in on arrival would follow. No such instructions were sent. The following day I communicated that I already found another place to stay and would like my money refunded. We communicated back and forth, the owner admitted what had happed was not acceptable, his fault and I did deserve to have my money refunded. He suggested he Zelle it to me, I said that was fine and gave him enough info so he could accomplish the transaction. I have not received any money and the owner no longer responds to any messages I send. Our communications was cordial and I communicated to him I did not want to give a bad review. Under the circumstances I’m only relaying what happened. I’m very sorry this did not work out. I have only good wishes for the owner but I will not be dealing with him again. It has been costly, frustrating, and my first and I hope only bad experience with the VRBO site.

If you would have told me during this day, I would’ve fully refunded you. After talking with VRBO. You did not communicate to them that you did not stay at the rental until 72 hours after you left. They made it clear. You didn’t communicate with them either. I don’t think it’s fair that you left me a one star rating on a place that you never step foot in. We had the cleaners, leave you a gift, and it was extremely unprofessional that you just thought you could NOT show up and then all of a sudden get a full refund, almost days after - that isn’t ethical regardless cleaners had to still be paid. Communication would’ve been better.
