Une maison très confortable dans un site magnifique et idéalement située pour les visites
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayUne maison très confortable et située idéalement. Nous étions 10 adultes (2 familles), et avons passé des jours merveilleux. Tres bon point de départ pour visiter l'île de Skye et une partie des Highlands

Publié le 9 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayLa maison est magnifique, très grandes chambres spacieuses, il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut, la cuisine est très très bien équipée.
L'endroit est somptueux, au calme, les biches viennent vous rendre visite le soir et/ou au petit matin...
A recommander absolument !

Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse was great for family holiday with lots of space and spectacular views. Good location for visiting Skye and surrounding areas. Kids loved the table tennis. Well equipped in some aspects but kitchen could have done with a bit of a deep clean.

Thank you for your review. I am pleased that you found the house well equipped but am disappointed to hear that the cleaning was not satisfactory. I do not live locally but if you had informed me of your complaint while you were at the house I would have asked the cleaners to come back and remedy the situation. Thank you for letting m know.

Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayNice big house for a very comfortable stay. Plenty of rooms and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen as well. Views around the property are very scenic and help one immensely to unwind. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and a great experience. We will surely prefer this property again in future and recommend it anyone with a large enough group.

Convenient home base for hiking the Highlands
Publié le 30 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayBunloyne was the ideal house for our group of 7 hiking friends to explore the area in the northwest part of Scotland. It had great shared spaces, large kitchen for food preparation and enough bathrooms for everyone! The views from the house are sublime. The house is very close to the Eilean Donan castle, and is very convenient to Skye. We also took road trips to Inverness and Ben Nevis/Fort William but be aware that driving in Scotland takes longer than you might think.
Gerard was responsive and a good host.

The only problem we had was inconsistent internet and wifi, but that is to be expected with a rural property. We also found the front door difficult to lock, although as Americans, we may have just not understood how the lock worked.
