Dining room staff were very polite and helpful
Room was clean and good enough for 4 ppl.
It may have been better if they kept some coffee and tea bags in the room and additional stuff to be picked up from the front office.

Other than the one Cockroach in the hallway, everything was clean. The room was TOO cozy (meaning tiny) but it served the needs at the moment. The staff were great.

This hotel was well set up. The staff were helpful, the room was clean. However, be mindful not to accidentally select a smoking room as we did as it was not at all pleasant or comfortable to sleep in a room where the air hang with stale cigarette smoke.

Big room and bathroom with lots of outlets and places to stow your stuff. Close to subway (2 blocks). Inexpensive breakfast buffet in lobby cafe with American and Japanese items.

i stayed here to go to Toji Shrine..a 15 minute walk away
this hotel strikes a great balance between
a minimum budget stay
and a well heeled luxury ammenity hotel
i booked a deeply discounter last minute stay and couldn’t have been happier
in addition to in room bathing they offfer the use of a Japanese style communal bath
the worst thing one could say about this hotel is that it’s across the streeet from a huge bus depot BUT it’s in a good location:15 min South of kyoto train station and also 15 min East of Toji Shrine
