Un bon compromis entre l'oriental et l'occidental

Très propre et très bien placé, près du centre, beaucoup de restaurants dans les alentours, 5 minutes à pied de la gare de train, bus/métro. Très pratique. Personnel très serviable, à l'écoute. Une des employées parle un peu français.

As you know, our hotel is located at very convenient place to many sightseeing spots and easy access to public transportation such as city bus, train and subway. Petit cocon dans un quartier sympathique de Kyoto

Un hôtel bien situé, sur une ligne de métro, entre de nombreux temples et à quelques minutes de marche du Nishiki market. Compter une vingtaine de minutes à pieds pour atteindre Pontocho Street et Gion. Le personnel est aux petits soins, discret et toujours souriant, prêt à rendre servie. Les installations sont à la fois modernes, mais avec une forte touche traditionnelle : un jardin japonais dans le hall, un onsen relaxant, etc. Seul petit bémol, le wifi un peu capricieux. Le quartier est reposant mais dispose de nombreux bars et restaurants de qualité, de boulangeries ou commerces artisanaux. 4ème séjour dans cet etablissement que je recommande.

As you mentioned, our property is beautiful and sophisticated, both outside and inside of our hotel. Our hotel is conveniently located on a small historical street called Shinmachi and is a good mixture of modernity and tradition. We are designed as a Kyo-machiya style hotel; Machiya means a traditional wooden townhouse found throughout Japan and typified in the historical capital of Kyoto. That would make our hotel much more unique and special when compared to other hotels and make you feel right at home. Also we really appreciate your complements on our staff, we hold several types competition every year for the best Omotenashi (Hospitality) improvement. In generally, Japan is fantastic country for hospitality, we assure you that we will continue to strive to provide better service. However, we are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our wifi condition during your stay. The accessibility sometimes becomes week depends on the location or some external environment around our hotel. Kindly note that we have addressed your comment with the concerned department heads for future improvement. Rest assured that corrective action will be taken accordingly. お手頃価格で周辺も徒歩で色々ご飯屋さんがあるので良かった。駐車場の提携はないが近隣にたくさん安めのパーキングがある。

I give it a 4.5 stars. Excellent breakfast buffet and very friendly and professional staff. Loved the decor of the hotel. The rooms were a little on the small side.
