Wonderful hotel. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included with our room and delicious every day! There are limited restaurants 5-10 minutes away, so we grabbed taxis or Ubers for the more popular areas. Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I felt completely luxurious. The bathroom honestly was my favorite part, but the rooms were also amazing. They were huge and I enjoyed all of the amenities.

This was a delightful find in Kyoto! The rooftop bar is amazing. Staff are great & some speak English. My reason for the 3 stars rating for facilities is that it’s very narrow-minded not to provide tea & coffee making amenities in the rooms for non-Japanese guests. All that is provided is green tea. No black tea, no sugar, no milk, no teaspoons. Obviously they are going to have international guests, yet don’t cater in the rooms for them.

I had one of the best hotel experiences in the world. Their hospitality and service were beyond words—simply awesome! I don't think I would visit Kyoto again, but if I did, it would only be to stay at this hotel. Rinpei was incredibly helpful and attentive. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!
