The room was unbearably hot and infested with mosquitos, making it impossible to stay comfortably. I tried reaching out to the property manager multiple times but received no response. Even the Hotels.com agent attempted to contact them numerous times without any success. Due to these unbearable conditions, we had to leave after just 45 minutes, despite having booked for four nights. This was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this inn to anyone.

We enjoyed the ryokan experience of tatami, futon and shoji. We used bus, taxi and train to get around to the sights of Kyoto. It was especially nice to have a washing machine and a fridge!
