we did not stay here, as we could not find the place. we called the manager and canceled our stay and he confirmed he would let hotels.com know to refund us. i also called hotels.com twice to get a refund and no return follow up.

Hi Jeremy! Indeed you did not stay with us, and called in late at night to cancel at the last minute. Our front desk had already applied to charge to Expedia. You see, you took advantage of a special rate by paying Expedia in Advance, and you had specific cancelation policies in your special deal. Since you cancelled at the very last minute, you were not entitled to a refund. I would suggest that in the future you be willing to pay a bit more and get better and more flexible last minute cancelation policies. We acknowledge the inconvenience to you, however, we also request that you accept that you had a reservation and did not comply with the contract that you had with Expedia.

Publié le 26 févr. 2024 sur HotelsWe only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer. La Villa de Soledad is a beautiful mansion in the traditional Spanish style with an open courtyard. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable.
John and Soledad were kind and accommodating hosts. We had an incredible dinner there cooked by Soledad - maybe the best during our trip to Honduras.
The short walk down to the river is really nice and it honestly beats having a pool.

Hi Timothy! so happy that you enjoyed your stay at our bed and breakfast! Most importantly that you felt welcome and enjoyed your meal! I totally agree that the river beats a pool. The Cangrejal River is truly spectacular.

Don John y Doña Soledad fueron muy atentos, me sentí como en casa, un lugar muy seguro y atención personalizada, el canto de las aves, espacios abiertos y la vegetación realzan la belleza del lugar.

This is one of the best hotel/B&B experiences I’ve ever had and one of my favorite lodgings to date. If you’re going to Pico Bonito National Park, this is hands down the best place to stay. The owners were so kind and helpful, and the property was gorgeous. I also really enjoyed the food and conversation. If I’m ever back in the area, this is the only place I’ll stay!

Beautiful and relax atmosphere. We felt at home! Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast there and it was amazing! Yani and Jessica made us feel like family! She is an amazing cook too! Would definitely come back!

I little peace of heaven on planet earth. We will be back again. From the amazing warm welcome and the breathtaking views. And the food is out of this world. Felt like a home away from home. Thank you for everything Johnny and Jessica!
