The Liaison Marie Therese met us by chance at the port as she was expecting us much latter that day. We were suggested to take a specific taxi whom she knew to access the home as "most other taxi" will not go up the hill to the house. He charged RS200 for a 2km drive - she told us it was the standard rate. A different taxi charged us RS150 when we left. The driver was dumbfounded with the RS200. The house had a beautiful view, split level with Aircon (absoilutely necessary) no WIFI as advertised. Marie Therese charged us EU 20/person and EU10 per child for dinner - under seasoned but lovely Creole food - do it once and then eat out. Beds are very uncomfortable, our mattress was 20 years old - definitely had bed bugs as the plug in mosquito repellent resulted in no flying insects. Kids eaten to bits. There was no daily room cleaning as advertised. The dishwasher was not
Marie Therese "organized" bikes at a good price A bit of a racquet if you ask me. Everyone is out mainly for the money. Oh yeah don't do FISH trap, it's rubbish food at expensive rates and is a TRAP!
