This 3 Story Lake House is a Large Group Vacationers Dream Featuring 9 Bedrooms and 9 Bathrooms (each Bedroom Has Own Bath). 3 Full Length 50 Foot Wide Decks (that's 1500 Additional Sq Ft of Living Space for Your Enjoyment) All With Beautiful Lake and Mountain Views. Large Main Kitchen Plus Kitchenette With Bar On Lower Level. Laundry Rooms On 2 Levels. 2 Story Dock With Covered Slip, Dock Furniture and a Slide! in Addition, We Have a Dedicated Driveway With Plenty of Parking. Free Internet and Long Distance.

The main Floor Features Stone Fireplace, Wood Flooring, Vaulted Ceilings, Granite Counter Tops, 2 Dishwashers, Double Wall Oven and 2 Large Stainless Refrigerators. for Dining, you’ll have 3, 8 Seat Dining Tables and a Large Island/bar That Seats 7. The Large Covered Deck Overlooking the Lake Has 2 Large Dining Tables, Chairs, and two Gas Grills. Two bedrooms on this floor each with king beds ensure anyone with constraints on stair usage can still join in the fun.

The Second Floor Features a Family Room With Large Screen Tv and Couches. The 4 bedrooms On This Level Have Queen Beds and 2 Rooms Include twin Bunks. Walk out to the Large Covered full Deck With Furniture. A Laundry Facility is Also On This Level.

The Third Floor Features a Large Rec Room With Ping Pong Table As Well As a Tv Viewing/gaming/sitting Area Next to the Bar, Kitchenette With Refrigerator, Sink, Ice Machine and a Large 7’ Bar With Seating for 7. There Are 3 Bedrooms On This Level, 1 Being a Bunk Room (bed Plus a Set of Bunk Beds), 1 with a King and 1 with 2 twins. This Floor Also Has a Second Washer and Dryer Set. The Covered Deck On This Level Features a Lighted Hot Tub, Outdoor Speakers and Additional Seating. This is a Non Smoking Home. Minimum Age 30 Years for renter responsibility. After Labor Day we cannot guarantee access to the dock as the TVA determines when they need to begin their winter pool levels. At some point after Labor Day (historically it is late October/early November) we have to move our dock to deeper water for the winter which does not allow for access from the property. We can offer a boat slip in the community in this event if you would like to bring or rent a boat during your stay.
Lakeside Estates is a gated community with a private boat launch. We have our own pool and walking trails. Overflow parking is also available. You are 10-15 minutes from LaFollette TN where you can stock up on supplies or make a quick run for any last minute needs. Take a day trip to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg which is an easy drive about an hour and a half away. There you can enjoy shopping, shows and many attractions. There are many golf courses in the area which makes a great weekend trip in fall or spring. Added bonus of the beauty of the mountains during any season.

2024 family vacation
wonderful house great location, recommend a couple of things. First one of the coffee pots does not work, a pod style maker would be really nice as well. The toaster only works on one side. for a house this big we have always had 2 four slice toasters. A Blackstone grill would be great as we brought our own from home. There are always small issues that are not worth mentioning because the house is that good. I am 63 years old, and I don't know how many more years I can do the steps to the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay! The water was warm and very calm fur kayaking and paddle boarding. We also rented a boat but spent many days just lounging on the dock. The house had everything we needed but it was a 10 minute drive to town for groceries.

Wonderful Property
The home was exactly as advertised, with plenty of room for all to be together or find a nook for reading. The owners were very quick to answer any and all questions. We found an abundance of hikes within a 30-45 minute beautiful car ride at the many state parks. We also enjoyed the kayaks and water slide. I highly recommend this home.

Great family time
My family and I came for a post-Christmas gathering and a chance to be all together under one roof. There was plenty of room for all of us and space to be with the whole crowd or move to a different part of the house when we needed some quiet! We especially loved that there were laundry facilities on two levels and two dishwashers in the main kitchen. With all the hills, we definitely didn't have to worry about missing leg day, just climb that driveway three or four times. The hosts checked in throughout the stay and even left a little care package which came in handy for someone who forgot their bath gel (plus, who doesn't like Chex mix). If you haven't been to this area before, know that arriving in daylight would be a good idea with all the winding roads. Overall a great experience!

Wonderful Place!!!
We got all of our family together and spent three days together celebrating Christmas. We had a wonderful time and had plenty of room in the kitchen for all the cooking we did. With it being winter we weren’t able to enjoy the lake but it would be amazing during the summer!!!

I have a large family that was planning a couple day getaway, until our mother took ill. We had to provide her in home 24 hour care and had to cancel. I hope to repeat a glowing review next year as we try to move on without our matriarch.

Family Reunion
House was great and the dock was fantastic. Two of us had boats and they fit well. Overall the house was awesome. We would definitely rent again. A few things to check on. The ice machine isn’t capable of producing enough ice for an entire family. We had 20 people and constantly had to run out and get ice. The counter top ice machine in the basement is moldy and need cleaning badly. We didn’t ice from that machine. The ice maker in the one refrigerator didn’t work. Also the steps down to the fire pit could use some lights. A couple members of our family stumbled their way down and most of them were sober at the time lol. Those things are minor and the trip, location, and host were awesome.

The property was really clean. Large enough for our big family. Every family had their own floor, with bedrooms bathrooms and sitting area. Kitchen was very spacious and big enough for everyone to sit and eat together. Decks were spacious too. Nice quite cove for the family to float and enjoy. Kayaks were provided and we used them to go fishing in the cove. We rented a pontoon for the week. Marina close by. We lost a phone near the dock and found a diver. He came out that day. Very reasonable priced. Very nice man. If you every need a diver give Need A Diver a call. All questions were answered really quickly from the owners. I would recommend the is house to everyone. You can tell the owners take pride in owning this house.

Family Funeral
We were so grateful to find a 9-bedroom house where our family's 3 generations from all over the USA could stay together while attending the funeral of our 94-year-old mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The house was perfect! The reservation and check-in process was clearly communicated to us and went very smoothly. The kitchen was very functional, there were plenty of tables and chairs for eating meals together, and the living room was very comfortable. All the beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor porches and decks with beautiful views of the lake, and loved the firepit area with the circle of chairs. It's never easy for a family to lose a much-loved elder, but being able to live and mourn together instead of being in separate hotel rooms was a blessing. Our only regret was that we were not there to enjoy the lake, swimming, or boating. There was a suggestion that we return to this home in the summer or even next summer to experience it as a vacation home. Hopefully we will make that happen. The name of this property is Southern Comfort, and we all agreed that we were comforted in our grief by the weekend we spent in this lovely southern home.

House is beautiful with a magnificent view. Great week with family (13 of us) ages 13-79. Kitchen is perfect for big family meals. Campfire for s’mores and beautiful weather . Would definitely go back!

Great location for large group
The layout of the house and areas for meeting are ideal. The kitchen layout is perfect. Great number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The lake was drained, but that is normal for this time of year. Check in was easy and cleanliness was top notch. Downstairs bedrooms are a little cold. Only challenge is if you have anyone in your party with a dog allergy - there is a very strong dog smell in some of the furniture and one of the bedrooms.
