Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were a group of 4 ladies in LaGrange for a meeting. The location was remote and very relaxing. Check in info is a little off, no automatic gate so no gate code needed. Cleanliness was ok but was not at level expected for the price. Shower heads appeared to be clogged with mineral deposits affecting water pressure. Beds were comfortable and furnishings were very nice.

Nice property

Pool was a nice surprise but it was dirty and cow poop splattered all over the deck. Pool cleaners did come while we were there, which was nice. Wish there was a little more spider control on the deck. We had some trouble getting in touch with the property manager but finally did on our last day and they were accommodating. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and exploring the property.

Very relaxing country cottage
Publié le 7 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the house in La Grange. The house was clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning and evening, listening to the birds. We took a fun ride through the pasture in the ATV, and even did a little fishing in the pond. The house was just a quick drive away from Schulenburg for our tour of the painted churches. It worked out perfectly for our visit.

Wonderful, relaxing stay!

Pool a lovely addition, solo stove had plenty of wood, house very clean and tidy, and the ATV was a fun way to see the property. Look forward to a return visit!

Girls' Weekend

Need to put actual steps and a handrail onto the deck; the current setup is a bit dangerous as there is just a narrow landscape brick to step up on. House was very comfy and well suited for our group of five. There are TV's in every room, but the listing fails to mention that you can't watch anything unless you bring your own stick/passwords, etc for streaming. Very convenient to the painted churches.

Overall enjoyable

The tv in the master bedroom didn’t work and we tried calling the property several times but didn’t hear from anyone. We ran out of toilet paper and also called the property but never heard back. The property was beautiful but the management lacked!

Publié le 11 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our visit and the wedding festivities that brought us to Weimar. The dog that greeted us was very friendly and the adult kids enjoyed him. It was much nicer to have a house to meet at over a hotel.
