This is my personal residence. I live in the main level. I rent the Downstairs and the Townhouse attached to the house as separate vacation rentals. All rentals are completely private on the inside. The only thing you share, is the outdoor areas, including the pool. Prior to your arrival, please advise if you have Covid 19 symptoms or have been exposed to anyone with Covid 19 during the 14 day period prior to your arrival date. Please practice Covid 19 protocols when you are interacting with anyone on the property, outside your own reservation group.

This listing is for an ~ 1250 square foot 3 bedroom single story Vacation Rental, which is part of a larger ~ 5,000 Sq. Ft. estate, that includes my residence (above this Vacation Rental), and an attached town home (which can also be rented at VRBO listing #509618).

Both Vacation Rentals are completely separate, updated, air conditioned with: private entrances; beautiful bathrooms; 55' flat screens in the living areas (cable/smart TV/Roku/Netflix ); 32' flat screens in the master bedroom of each listing; separate washer/dryers. You have a fully furnished kitchenette/with granite counters/stainless appliances.

You look out on a beautiful kidney shaped, newly resurfaced pool, with a water slide and LED color changing pool light, hot tub, waterfall, deck, Travertine Patio, BBQ island/bar/sink with a large built in gas grill & granite counter-top, fire pit with decorative glass rock. There is no barrier between the exit doors and the pool, therefore this listing is not suitable and will NOT be rented to guests with small/non-swimming children. If children will be on the property, please advise me of their age and swimming ability when making your initial inquiry about renting the property. The pool is solar heated, thereby extending the swimming season. Patios/pool/outdoor areas are open ONLY from 9 A.M. to 10 P.M. The rental, including the patio/pool/outdoor areas, are for paying guests ONLY. If you wish to entertain non-paying individuals, do so at a location off the property. Large, 3/4 acre, fenced, private, property with fruit trees for you to enjoy/consume when in season (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, apple and lemon).

The property has stunning mountain and canyon views to the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Helix. Very private and tranquil. Occasionally I see a flock of wild parrots fly by or perch in the trees. There is only off street parking.

This Vacation Rental listing has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 11 with three queen beds, four twin (trundle) beds, one conventional twin bed, (and inflatable air mattresses if needed for additional person(s)). For groups of 1 to 11, rent this one Vacation Rental listing. For groups of 11 to 19, rent both Vacation Rental listings. The base rent for each Vacation Rental listing covers the first two people staying in the listing. For additional persons (beyond two), staying in the listing, there is an additional $30 per person daily fee. The outdoor areas are the only thing you share with others staying at the property. Pets may be brought for a fee, upon approval. If you wish to bring a pet, please tell me the type pet, breed, age, whether it is friendly with other people/animals, and if it is housebroke or has any destructive behaviors. Please note I have two female Goldendoddles (born 11/22/19), on the property, but will not interact with you, unless you request they do.

Beautiful view from main room and deck
There were 4 adults staying at this home. Clean rooms. Not clear until you read all the fine print was that the owner lives on main floor and the rental was for lower level space. One bathroom was also entrance into the home which also had washer and dryer in this space. Also not clear in description was the very steep driveway so not able to go for a walk but had to drive somewhere. Townhouse on the property was rented to a really nice couple with a young boy and an infant at same time we were there. Could have better description of the property. I

Beautiful property with a nice pool, hot tub and landscaping. Owner Jeff was a wonderful host. He has 3 dogs but you would never know they were there. Kids were able to go with him and walk the dogs one night and loved it! Nice location.

Great stay in San Diego
Beautiful setting, beautiful view of Mount Helix. Thru great, easy and efficient communication with Jeffrey, we were able to check in a couple of hours early as our plane landed just after noon, which was greatly appreciated. During our stay, Jeffrey made himself very accessible if need be and very courteous. The house was very cozy and comfortable. It was very clean and everything we needed for a great stay was available. The house was no more 30 minutes away from Downtown San Diego so not much time lost on driving and more time to visit. We had a great time in SAN Diego. We strongly recommend booking this house.

This was such a nice space and so much room. 2nd bath was a little narrow but bedrooms were roomy and beds were so comfortable. We really appreciated the open living and dining space and the comfy furniture to gather each morning and at the end of the day. We were lucky to have the pool and hot tub to ourselves and our host was very accommodating A great space for our girls' getaway.

Good location, lodging adequate, owner was upfront and honest saying it’s his personal residence as well. we had the unfortunate luck of staying when he had a big group of people and since his residence was above us we heard them for the entire six day trip. Creaking floorboards, loud talking, they used the pool and hot tub more than we did. No privacy at all plus loud people around. Very inconsiderate.

Clean and Comfortable Stay
My family and I stayed at the property for a week and we had a great time. We had to wait an extra hour to check in while the house was readied but once we checked in the house was very clean & well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the pool and view were very nice. We were very happy with our stay in this home.

We had a great stay! The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice and clean. The hot tub was hot and clean. We had plenty of room, the kitchen was nice and it was clean, and had everything you needed. The water and dryer was nice and useful. The lender was kind and attentive. The location was close to anything we went to and opposite of all traffic. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing view, nice sized pool, very clean. BBQ and kitchen were so nice to make meals outside. More than enough beds and they are extremely comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again!

Hollywood Hills living
The property is very private. Propped on a hillside overlooking the Mount Helix area. It feels like exclusive living. Awesome views of the surrounding hillside homes straight from your poolside deck. The house itself is clean, modern, private from the surrounding homes, and quiet in the evenings. Jeff was available for all questions and very easy to communicate with. We would consider staying here again for certain.

Felt like home away from home. It was awesome to start our day with a dip in pool or hot tub, then go play and explore San Diego and then come back and relax with a swim, outdoor shower, grill and movie before falling out! Super comfortable home and plenty of rooms and space for us all.

We looked forward to the pool & hot tub, but “southern California weather” was not cooperative at all. House was located in nice spot; 20 minutes from everything; zoo, city of San Diego, seaport, Del Coronado Hotel. Would stay there again for sure!

OUTSTANDING!!!
We came to San Diego for our sons graduation from MCRD bootcamp , Jeff was amazing with answering my questions and I had a lot of them!! He was very accommodating our arrival and departure times, offering to allow me to ship items directly to his house to save precious cargo space for our sons other needs. The views were breathtaking, sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee was amazing. While he lives on property he respects the space and seems to always appear when he is needed. Our favorite part was being able to relax in the hot tub after a long, emotional day. Grocery store is close by and the drive to MCRD was not bad at all when you compare the views here to the city. My mom who has had back surgeries said she hasn't slept this well in a long time, the beds are amazing. Thanks for a great stay and if we come back this way we will definitely rebook.

Fantastic Location-Won’t Go Wrong
This is a beautiful property in Mount Helix. Jeffrey the owner was very responsive with all questions and I had a lot! I had a little bit of different scenario with family members flying in from different areas and being a surprise to other family members. Jeffery was great through the whole process. Even added more beds for guests. Would Definitely stay again for a San Diego destination. Thanks again Jeff!

Jeffrey was an amazing host! He very nice and sociable. His Property is extremely nice and well kept, lights on the patio, outdoor seating and dining...what more can you ask for. Endless views from the Patio so you can just sit out, have a drink or enjoy the company. i recommend this place if you are ever looking to be in a peaceful area of SD. me and my party will definitely be keeping this place in mind next time we decide to take another trip out. Jeffrey is a nice guy and very accommodating. The view was great! There was some minor construction, but this was not an issue. We could have used soap and tissue in the bathrooms. The house worked well for the size of our group, but could have been a bit much for a larger group with the majority of the beds in two rooms. Again, the dining room table worked well for use, but would have been a challenge for a larger group. The hot tub was only warm, but is available for us during Covid. Overall, I would recommend this house for a family.
