Beautiful Area, Beautiful Home

Owners and cleaners were very pleasant to deal with and kept the process easily and mellow. Highly recommend overall, but be careful with the septic system to prevent clogs and backups. Would gladly rent again.

Mostly great!
Publié le 30 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayOur overall experience was good. We Had enough room to fit our large family for Christmas comfortably. The location of this house is perfect. Reasonable driving distance to stores and outdoor activities. Only complaint is that the house wasn't very clean when we arrived. The griddle had to be washed prior to use. Our bed sheets looked unwashed or stained, and there were a few other dirty dishes. Overall, we were happy and would stay again.

We’re glad your large family enjoyed the lodge. We’re sorry that you found some cookware unclean. Sometimes guests wash things poorly and put them away. Housekeepers try to catch those. Many other reviews compliment the home’s cleanliness. Providing lodging over 25 years, cleanliness is our #1 priority. (This started as a real Bed and Breakfast next-door.) We would never provide unclean sheets! Perhaps your set was stained because holiday changeovers of groups like yours challenge the inventory. A more common statement we hear is appreciation of the washer/dryer in house and abundance of cookware and dishware supplied in kitchens upstairs and down. There are coffeemakers, blenders, grills, BBQs, many pots and pans, cookie sheets, bakeware, dishware, glasses and silverware enough to serve more than 20 people. Again, our apology and thanks for your business. Have a wonderful new year.

Fantastic Stay!
Publié le 13 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWe were in La Pine for our son’s wedding and needed a rental for our entire family (12). The rental provided more than enough rooms and bathrooms. It was comfortable, had lots of space for meals and hanging out.
In addition, we needed a venue to host the rehearsal dinner. When we contacted the owners, they told us a large “great room” above the house could easily seat 34 wedding party participants. For a small fee, we were able to have everything in the same house.
Doug and Gloria were very responsive. Whenever we had a question or needed something (ex.; extra trash bags, etc.) they replied quickly or dropped by with lightbulbs, trash bags, etc.
We would recommend this to anyone needing a large place for a family event!s

Cozy Cabin
Publié le 29 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property was beautiful and the cabin was a great fit for my trip. La Pine is a fantastic small town and minutes away from fun things in Bend. I enjoyed the atmosphere and recommend anyone with a big group to enjoy what this place has to offer!
