Great house!

No Music House
Publié le 17 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house met all of our physical needs and we enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi. The neighborhood is quite and safe. However, there is a unique "noise ordnance" for this home. You cannot play soft music inside our outside the property and there is literally a "noice meter" in the house to measure the decibels! The issue is with an unhappy neighbor. Read the fine print of your contract. We are not loud party people, but did want to enjoy some music. In general, La Quinta has numerous rules (e.g. no cars on the street), so this property may or may not fit your needs.
On a positive note, the host was super helpful and the house was clean and well-stocked.

Ho.e less than expected
Publié le 7 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayQuality of home less than expected for price. Refrigerator sucked! No clothes hanger. No tv in bedrooms. Roof damaged and during high winds blew attic scuttle off putting insulation my clothes.

Good location but not worth the money
Publié le 4 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location is good and the house is nice overall but for the price everything should have been in working order, but it wasn't. And in general there was a lack of information provided about how to operate key things in the house. The freezer didn't work and the refrigerator barely worked-- we ended up having to throw out most of the food we brought after a few days. There was a stand alone freezer which did work, but there was no information provided about it (i.e. "use this freezer because the other one is broken"). There were also no instructions provided for how to operate the pool and spa. After contacting the property manager I was provided some basic info but the spa would shut off after 20 min or so requiring it to be turned off and then back on. The washing machine worked somewhat but made a terrible sound when switching to spin. The central heat worked in the main house but not in the casita-- and after contacting the property manager I was told the thermostat/register for the casita was "just for show" and didn't actually work so to get the heat on in the casita you have to turn up the heat in the main house. Again, something that could have been explained in some simple instructions but none were provided.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but felt that when spending roughly $1000 per night everything should be in working order, and at a minimum some basic instructions should be provided regarding how to operate key aspects of the property.

House review

There were no tissues in any bathroom.
There was only one key for 8 people
There were only 6 chairs for the dining room table.

Favorite Desert Get Away
Publié le 4 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe love staying at this property so much we have made it an annual occurrence. The home is perfect for us with open floor plan and a beautiful pool. Literally perfect for our two families to get together. The property is really well laid out, spacious yet cozy. The host is incredibly communicative and kind. Can’t wait for next year!
