Weekend trip
The backyard was nothing like the picture and had no lights at night. The dish and hand soap were watered down. The remote control for the TV in the bedroom didn't have batteries.

Bait and switch
The property was nothing like the pictures. Had beer bottles and water bottles all over the back yard. Weeds everywhere. It smelled like smoke and old house as soon as u enter the house. The recycle bin was filled to the top with oxy clean bottles. I’m pretty sure someone lives there and just leaves when it gets rented. I wouldn’t touch anything in the house. It all just felt disgusting. The upstairs was 82 degrees and owner said it was a trick the maintenance could fix. However when we returned it was still 82 degrees upstairs. I wouldn’t recommend this property to my worst enemy. Absolutely do not rent unless u want to feel disgusting. It is nothing like the pictures and should be removed from vrbo. Shame on u

Nice, clean home close to everything!
Property was very clean. No issues with checkin. The host was extremely responsive to any questions we had. Nice neighborhood close to anything that we needed. Property did not have blinds or curtains on the bedroom windows, so we had the get our own to make the rooms dark for our kids. The yard could use a good cleaning, but no major issues. We would stay again in the future if we were back in the area.

good stay!
The host was very prompt in responding to questions, and the house was pleasant and clean, in a nice area. For the most part everything is as it appeared in the listing, but the yard no longer has the red chair pictured nor a table outside. The bedrooms were spacious - I would recommend investing in curtains for the skylights directly above the beds. Overall, good stay and easy check-in process!

The property advertisement that is shown, is not what the inside or backyard is listed showing.. there is no barbecue pit, table or anything that is shown. The yard has weeds overgrown everywhere both in the front and back. Inside the house there are some really bad hazards.. if you are taller than probably 5 foot 4 you have to duck down to go up and down the stairs to get to the bedrooms that are all upstairs, and into the basement to do laundry. There is no coffee maker stand, and i asked specifically if there was a kureig coffee maker and was told there was. Host told me it was broken by the previous occupant. The pictures of the furniture inside the house are not what is there. Home could be be very nice with a little effort. I was expecting to stay at the house that was depicted. So i was disappointed once i arrived. I would only wish that you would change the photos to show what is actually there. Availabe storage place for clothes were broken and the vanity in the bathroom had a broken door. There was no furniture in any bedroom except 1. The tv that is in 1 bedroom is broke and no remote.. also the previous problems listed by prior occupants has not been addressed

Worst VRBO experience
The pictures of the property were not as depicted on the website. There was no grill, no table & chairs, fire pit was destroyed, open hot tub with a small amount filthy water. The yard was completely overgrown, took the maintenance men 4 hours to clean it up. Garbage piled up on the side of the house. Smashed garbage cans in the tall weeds & grass. After the clean up my husband had to weed eat the yard himself. The door from the kitchen to the basement was missing, we found it down the basement & replaced it ourselves. Very dangerous for our dogs. The basement was full of water. There were more issues too numerous to list. The host sent the maintenance man to assist but he said he is only paid enough to cut the lawn & that’s all he does. He cut the lawn & fixed the leak in the basement. The microwave did not work. Sent an email to the host about our concerns & her response was we could cancel. Would not recommend this property as it is not properly maintained and not at all as pictured on the VRBO website.

Nice but needs attention
We travel and stay in a lot of VRBO’s, so have experienced the great and not so great. The house is cute with a nice backyard. Close to Starved State Park which we’d recommend checking out. Only 15 min away. Check in & communication was no problem. Where we had issue was with the little touches that could make this great, but are neglected. 1. Bath towels that are stained, thin, frayed, and extremely small and old. 2. Broken bathroom drawer with nails sticking out. (Not safe for little ones) 3. Bath sink doesn’t drain properly 4. Broken bedroom closet door 5. Can’t use A/C at night, it’s next to all 3 bedrooms and sounds like a train. 6. Kitchen garbage can lid is broken 7. Very dirty ceiling fans in kitchen! 8. No can opener, measuring spoons, large bowels or even a hand towel. 9. Upon arrival there was an old dirty mop left at back door making it smell moldy and musky, hair balls in toilet and cleaning product left on the couch. 10. Kitchen bar stools are not stable as the floor is uneven where they sit. 11. Unsafe very steep staircase, needs a carpet runner as it’s hardwood and slippery. Most of these things things could be addressed hiring a handyman for a few hours, a deep clean and maybe $20 at the dollar store. Then we would certainly recommend it with those improvements.
