Disappointed in hotel
Family stay 2 nights. The pool and bar area are the best part of this hotel. Pool is lovely and children enjoyed time in the pool. The beach bar area has a great view and very relaxing. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel seems in need of care and attention. Reception area does not feel welcoming or friendly carpet is very dirty. Our family room was clean but had a funny smell when we arrived. No tea & coffee making facilities in room which was very disappointing each morning when I like a drink whilst getting ready. We did not take breakfast at the hotel so I can not comment on this maybe we would have been tempted if we had a breakfast menu in our room. On arrival check In was ok but on departure the receptionist did not really show any interest in us just pointed out the amount to pay which turned out to be more than my reservation stated. All In all great location but hotel is run down. I would not go back to this hotel or recommend it.

Best Holiday at the end of the season.
Superb hotel with a great front desk team. Any little issues we had was put right immediately. Also they spoke good English as my French is very poor. Rooms cleaned and refreshed every day when we went for breakfast. We had dinner the first night at the hotel then had dinner in the few restaurants that were open at the end of the season. The hotel car park does get full. However you can park on the street outside. We found the other residents to be extremely friendly.

Disappointing
Experience was not as nice as last year. No longer can you book a table on the beach for dinner- disappointing for special occasions. The restaurant menu seems to be set and doesn't vary nightly as before. The staff in the restaurant were disorganised & rude. We used the pool only once as the behaviour of some couples was far too intimate and extremely embarrassing to experience. Certainly not family orientated. Sea view rooms seem extremely small & we did not like a sheer curtain to our tiny shower room. Wardrobe and storeage space was extremely basic. There is no air conditioning lift facility hospitality tray or telephone to reception.

We chose this for the location and free parking. Wonderful hotel property with a great view of the bay and sunset. Dinner was exceptional.

A very nice relaxing place to stay.
An excellent 3 night stay to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel from the outside very French but ultra modern rooms. Not a/c tho. Bathrooms were immaculate shower room with separate toilet.There is a lovely restaurant on the beach but advisable to book a table in the evenings. The food is superb and beautifully presented. Service on the last night was very disappointing but the head waitress made sure we were recompensed accordingly. There are No tea/coffee facilities in room and UK holidaymakers were disappointed no bar or drinks facilities available until 6 pm which was frustrating after a long hot journey. The pool is a great asset but unsupervised children can be a pain. A sole adults swim hour would have been a bonus. The little town of Ronce is delightful and the hotel is very close by. All in all a great stay with superb weather too.Will definately return.

Tres bon séjour à Ronce les Bains. Hôtel très agréable et bien situé pour sortir dans la ville ou aller visiter les environs. Beaucoup de choses à faire , Oléron, La Tremblade, le Fort Boyard, belles plages et immense forêt pas très loin. De très belles vacances.

Les photos que vous présentez sur votre site sont fausses vous présenter la piscine couverte or celle-ci ne l'est pas l'accueil ne ressemble pas du tout à ça ainsi que des chambres de plus vous indiquez animaux domestique accepté mais nous avons eu la surprise de payer 15 € par jour pour un chien pour dormir sur la moquette il n'y a pas le prix du petit déjeuner 14 € par personne à ce prix-là il me semble qu'il faut faire le plein pour la journée de plus les deux nuits que nous avons passé nuit blanche je précise car ayant dormi dans les bâtiments à côté de l'hôtel le personnel c'est la foire le soir étant donné qu'ils ont leur appartement au-dessous des chambres jusqu'à 2 et 4h du matin je n'y reviendrai plus de plus pas de savon dans la douche

Très bon hôtel qui met bien en valeur le charme de Ronce-les-Bains. Seule proposition : mettre une musique plus douce le matin au petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse !
