Wedding in LaGrange

Spring Break with the kids
Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented The Townie to take the kids to Great Wolf Lodge. The property was a comfortable option for us with modern decor and high end linens. Nestled amongst a lovely historic neighborhood- near downtown area with plenty of dining/shopping options. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if we ever decided to return to LaGrange.

My kids and myself enjoyed our stay at the townie. Beautiful home and close to many locations Great wolf lodge, wildlife safari etc. I just did not like all the bees around the house we were unable to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Great stay at The Townie

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property, and enjoyed the ability to walk and explore the neighborhood, including walking on The Strand. We loved the spacious, updated kitchen and the comfortable bedrooms. The house is tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to be back.

Great Location
Publié le 22 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayStayed here for a Baseball Tournament at the beginning of June and the house was less than 5 miles from the event center. The house was very clean and the layout was nice. The beds in the twin bed room are very very high off of the ground - worried the little one would roll out and fall on the floor but thankfully no issues with that. The ironing board is built in the wall in area off the kitchen - in a small closet - appears to be original to the house - took me 2 days to find it so just passing that along for others. Loved the wash machine and dryer because it made it easy to wash and dry the baseball uniforms on Saturday for Sunday. The closet organizer in the master bedroom is really nice. Loved the location and its proximity to everything - would like to stay again when I can enjoy the house and the area and not just use it for a place to crash after being in the heat all day at the ball fields.
