I found the early check in very frustarting. I had a wedding at 1:30 I attempted to call weeks ahead for early check in. They kept saying they couldn’t guarantee I could get into the room before 1 and to call the day off. I called the night before and they said I could pay to check in between 12-3pm instead of the normal 4. I asked if I could for sure get into my room at 12. No they could not guarantee me. They said with the business they probably would not have room ready till 3 but to ask again the morning of. So I go to the hotel at noon hoping to check in early before the wedding. Nope because I didn’t pay the $25 the day prior they wouldn’t let me in early. I explained I wasn’t going to pay ahead of time till I knew I could get in before 1:30 they said it was too late to pay and my room would not be ready till 4. So I wasn’t able to check in till I got back from the hotel very tired at almost 2am. I would have gladly paid the $25 for early check in if it was a set time and not a chance I still wouldn’t have been able to get in before the wedding started. Wish communication was better.

I'm sorry that you were frustrated with the check in process this past weekend. Our guaranteed check -in time is 4 pm. We are not able to guarantee anything earlier as it is very difficult to anticipate the volume of checkouts or service that will be demanded of the cleaning team on that day. The availability of early check in is relative to the room type that you booked, the time the previous guests checks out, the state of the room and the extent of attention that is required and the availability of team to get to that room in the time frame required. We do try to offer a limited amount of early check-ins to those that secure the request the night before by authorizing an early check in fee. This puts them on a priority list but again we can never fully guarantee that rooms can be ready by 12 or 1 pm as our checkout time is 11am. If you require your room earlier than 4 pm to accommodate your needs you are advised to book the night before to avoid disappointment. We appreciate your understanding on the processes that are in place to ensure that we are able to provide the best level of cleanliness that all guests expect.

Thank you for taking time to alert us to this concern. I hope that you indicated your problem to staff during your one night stay with us. Staff would have been happy to address this at the time of the stay if this was brought forward.

Breakfast included, pool and hot tub were great. Lovely park nearby for walks.

Room was very nice and comfortable.
The downside was the hot breakfast option was very sparse. If don’t like sausages, which I don’t, your only option was pancakes, which I am not a big fan of either. I ate one pancake, my husband one piece of toast. Not really a great start to the day.
