Beautiful House Boat
Posted Oct. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayThe boat was just as pictured but the views of the fall foliage were even better than imagined. It was like glamping on the water. Perfectly situated near all the attractions of Laconia and Meredith, walking distance to several great establishments. Property manager extremely friendly and helpful I was pleasantly surprised that pool and hot tub were still open this late in the season. We would definitely come back

Lovely stay and host
Posted Sep. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a fantastic time at the stay. Very unique experience. Felt like we were cruising on the ocean with the waves moving the boat. Serene peaceful club. The hosts were extremely sweet about us extending our check out as we checked in late due to schedule conflicts. Very quick in responding and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend and will come back again. Thank you Lance and Kurt for letting us use your lovely boathouse. One of a kind experience.

Not like it used to be
Posted Sep. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was a favorite of ours, but this year was disappointing. The younger “crew” with the exception of one older gentleman were rude, non responsive and dishonest. They also decided to empty the septic tank in the middle of our stay without letting us know and then went into the boat we were renting with out consent. Very unsettling. The boat wasn’t very clean, there was no toaster and only one key initially. The crew was in no hurry to help us when we needed the key or to check on the broken jacuzzi when we reported this, (we found out later they were already aware… why not just say that??) We did notice however the “crew” were very quick and accommodating to the guests who were renting or going out on their boats for the day.

Septic Tank and Boat Access: The septic tank pump-out is an essential maintenance task performed from outside the houseboat, and there should not have been any need for entry into the boat itself, except possibly to add a deodorizer to the tank. I apologize if this process caused any confusion or inconvenience and for any lack of communication regarding it.
Hot Tub and Maintenance: Our hot tub is inspected twice daily for chemical levels and temperature to ensure it is functioning properly. If you encountered any issues, I regret that we were not able to address them promptly.
Key Card: I’m glad to hear that the additional key card was provided quickly.
Staff Responsiveness: I’m concerned to hear that you feel some members of our crew were not as helpful or courteous as expected. This is not the standard of service we strive for, and I will discuss this feedback with the team to improve our guest experience. Please note that our staff has a wide range of responsibilities, including time-sensitive tasks related to boaters coming and going, which may have impacted their availability.
For future reference, reaching out to us directly through VRBO or the appropriate channels will help ensure that any issues are resolved more efficiently.

Honeymoon Bliss
Posted Aug. 30, 2023 on HomeAwayThis property was everything that was expected and more. The grounds and marina are beautiful and expertly groomed. The staff at the marina were at the ready for anythimg we needed. The Beach bar team were so friendly and inviting. As for the houseboat we rented it was wonderful and spotless. Truly an amazing experience. We also enjoyed that there was a lot to do within walking distance. We can see many anniversaries to come being spent here.
