Contre : Zimmer zur Verfügung stellen welche auch gebucht wurden!
Emplacement : Die Lodge liegt an einer ruhigen Nebenstraße, nicht im Stadtzentrum. Ohne Auto kann man aber nichts in der Nähe unternehmen.
Von der Chefin oder Besitzerin bekamen wir, wohl wissend, nicht die gebuchte Zimmerkategorie weil wir "zu spät waren" und so leider schon alles voll war. Wie kann das gehen? Zudem wurde aber der Zimmerpreis abgerechnet, der via Expedia, für eine höhere Kategorie, gebucht war. Laut Aussage hat darauf nur Expedia Einfluss.

Impolite manageress
Publié le 7 nov. 2016 sur HotelsThis is the second time I have stayed at this Lodge. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the manageress made me feel like I was doing her the favour by staying at the lodge.
I called the day before to advise that I may be late in checking in. The response was aggressively that they knock off at 9pm, not offering any alternatives to that. When arriving at 8pm, I was reminded that I was EARLY! I was then attacked for paying the wrong fee. I had simply booked and paid the rate that came up on the website. I was told that the money was not through and that I should pay the rack rate of R600. Luckily both the credit card payment notification and email confirmation were on my phone which I checked on getting back to my room. My husband confirmed that he had a similar experience with the manageress on our last visit, less than 1 month previously.
The experience left a bad taste in my mouth for what should have been a comfortable and convenient stay.
