Just perfect!

Blissful cottage

Cute but outdated
Posted Jul. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayHot in the house during the day. Needs ceiling fans, screen windows, appliance updates, and short on bedroom electrical outlets. Beautiful back patio. Needs window blinds very badly that you can’t see in.

The guest contacted me saying that because we don’t have screens in our windows he felt that he couldn’t open them. The house has lots of windows that open and allow the breeze to blow through and cool it. If all the windows are closed the house will become hot. It’s perfectly safe to have the windows open.
As far as the appliances, the refrigerator and washer/dryer are less than a year old. The stove is a 1940s classic Gaffers & Sattler. It’s a wonderful gas stove and we’ve had comments from guests who say they love cooking on it.
There are two electrical outlets in each bedroom and multiple outlets in the dining room and living room.

Truly a blessing cottage

You can easily walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, grocery store, parks… everything within easy reach. Great home base. Kitchen is well equipped. Great having washer and dryer on site. We really didn’t have any needs that were not met. Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us

Blessing Cottage Spring 2024

Beaches, restaurants, grocery, boutiques all just a few minutes' walk with a trolley stop nearby to take you all up and down the coast. The house is as promised in every way with everything you need for a SoCal getaway. The yard is worthy of arboretum status and provides wonderful birdwatching opportunities. Excellent communication from host.

Great stay - walking distance to everything!

It is perfectly located -- with walkable access to the beach, the downtown area, and the HIP District. The cottage is charming. The backyard is beautiful. We couldn't have asked for more.

Best cottage
Posted Nov. 28, 2023 on HomeAwayWe have stayed here a few times. It is an amazing place, with all the necessities and amazing location. The owner is very communicative and responsive. She makes sure everything is to our liking. The cottage is so close to the beach. We have stayed for Thanksgiving a few times now and every time there's enough dishes to make a full Thanksgiving dinner. It is perfect. The backyard is absolutely amazing. It feels like you're not in the middle of the city.
