Location is nice, but the rooms are old and dirty.
Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HotelsWe paid for an ocean front room and they didn’t have it so we had to stay in a standard room. The manager was rude and difficult to deal with and only gave us one option and if that wasn’t good enough said we could cancel the stay. We were traveling with our two kids so this was a difficult option, since we didn’t know the area.
The people on Laguna were lovely and all the shops and restaurants were amazing.

Amanda, thank you for taking the time to write us, after reviewing your reservation details it seems you booked a standard room that does not have an ocean view and is not ocean front. I do apologize for the confusion, and for our staff being rude. We will work on improving our guest experience and making room descriptions simpler so everyone can clearly understand what they are reserving.

Clearly the management are not listening to the reviews about their staff. They are condescending, impatient and look bitter. We encountered dismissive attitudes and unhelpful responses, which made addressing even simple issues a frustrating ordeal. I wish I had read the other reviews before we booked. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Linda, I would like to apologize for the unpleasant experience you had with our staff members we will be retraining all of our staff members to be more pleasant and welcoming to all of our guests

We have stayed here several times over the years. It’s an older somewhat dated property, but the staff is great and the location impossible to beat. I know there have been some room updates, outta was not one. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. The room was very comfortable but could use a “deep” cleaning. Nothing that took away from our stay however and we will be back soon.

Great location, BUT...
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThe location is great for beach and the art festivals, but this is not a quality hotel. The room was completely unadorned (no pictures or art). Walls were poorly patched. Dresser would not open. The room was just pretty beat up. Our refrigerator leaked, and we called the front desk, but no one ever came, so we dealt with wet carpet all weekend. Our room was not made up on Saturday, and when I called, they said they would send fresh towels. I called three times, they never sent towels, so I had to go find a housekeeper (towels finally came, way too late). Think twice and shop around. I would not stay there again.

We expected a room on the beach and didn't get one. We left after one night. Their website is deceiving. Otherwise, staff were good, and the room was clean.
