Bad night in a bad inn.
Posted Mar. 21, 2024 on HotelsThe staff at breakfast were not helpful and were not nice. I asked for a second glass of orange juice and they refused to give it. There was very limited breakfast selection and their excuse was that it's ramadan time. But we're not Muslims and do not have to fast. They should not charge for breakfast in the booking if they had no intentions of feeding their non-Muslim guests properly. I had to wait 15 minutes every day for 4 days for my tea to be served. This is not a luxurious hotel as described. It is dated and the decor is tacky. The hallway to the rooms is dark that it does'nt feel safe, especially we are women. The room and the hallway also reek of cigarettes. The housekeeping staff hassle you for tips whenever you ask for supplies, which should have been provided anyway. There's two of us and they only put one bottle of shampoo and bath gel. The toiletries are of low quality that the soap does'nt even sud. The hotel is located in a busy street and is not in a good area.

I stayed for two weeks was charged for a second person when I came in to the hotel. and the bathroom tiolet didnt flush stinked coming from the bathroom after cleaning it.

Disappointing stay
Posted Dec. 8, 2022 on HotelsOn arrival there was a mix up with reservation. Handed a letter saying accommodation was cancelled which was actually not the case and that i would have to pay to book another room. Was made to pay fr another room, despite showing them original booking thag was still active and not cancelled. Was only when Hotels.com became involved that this was sorted. Was finally allocated a room only to find it was filthy. Shower head had some growth on it and was eventually changed. Window view was of a rubbish tip. Was offered free mini bar for duration of stay as compensation which was nice only it wasn't re stocked after the first day!! Asked room service a few times if they could please restock. Staff are not very helpful or seem to care, most don’t speak English well so any requests fall on deaf ears. Room service had a bad habit of knocking once then barging in! Nearly got caught out a couple of times
Would not recommend or go back
