Step back in time to this charming 1930s-style cabin in a scenic mountain location.

We’re a short walk from the private Lake Arrowhead walking trail, Lake Arrowhead Village, and Lake Arrowhead Brewing.

NOTE:
-Access to the private walking trail around the lake? -> YES
-Access to the lake/water? -> NO
-Due to new regulations by the Arrowhead Lake Association, prior registration and fees are required to access the private walking trail around the lake. We'll provide instructions.

• There are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom and second bedroom each have queen beds. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a full-size bed.
• Babbling brook outside that you can enjoy from the porch, and even from inside the house if you open some windows.
• Beautiful, recently redone wood floors throughout the downstairs.
• Large, porch-style deck to enjoy the outdoors.
• Parking available for 2 cars.
• Keyless entry! Our mechanized door lock allows you to have a unique four-digit entry code. No hard key required! And no need to meet us beforehand.

Amenities Offered
• The living room has a 2016 model 55-inch 4k Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV, with complimentary Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
• There's also a great Vizio sound bar and subwoofer in the living room, complete with surround sound.
• Front porch/deck is great for hanging out and grilling. There is a fire pit, chairs, table, grill, etc.
• Wood-burning fireplace
• WiFi (free, of course)
• Kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Just bring the chef!
• Stove-top oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker
• Linens and towels provided.
• Complimentary popcorn, hot chocolate and coffee.
• For long-term guests, a washer and dryer are available.

This location is unbeatable. Less than a 5-minute walk from Lake Arrowhead Brewing Co., and less than a 1-minute drive to the village shopping center, which has everything you need for a great time on the mountain, from restaurants to shopping to entertainment.

***The walking trail pass only includes access to the private walking trail around the lake, NOT to the beach clubs. The walking trail pass DOES NOT GIVE ACCESS TO THE LAKE/WATER.***

NOTE: From the driveway to the front door, there are a total of 10 steps, with a landing and a handrail after the first 4 steps, FYI.

NOTE: Please accurately list the number of guests who will be in your party. If that number changes after you book, please inform us ASAP. If you book as 4 guests or fewer but have more than 4 guests, we will request that you pay in accordance with our listed fees for the number of guests in excess of 4.

NOTE: We welcome well-behaved dogs. Your fuzzy four-legged friend is part of the family too! Please make sure to clean up dog hair before check out. Otherwise, there could be an additional $20 cleaning charge.

Cozy cabin getaway
We needed a getaway and a change of scenery, and found the cozy cabin. Location was a short walk down down to the lake and Lake Arrowhead Brewery. They had a food truck on Saturday. Village was a few more minutes up the hill. We had never been to lake arrowhead, very peaceful and not overtaken by people. Cabin is cozy (small) and had all the things we needed. Perfect for 4 people.

Charming cottage in need of an update
The cabin is just as pictured and is a nice short walk to the lake. I would not recommend the cabin for children as it is situated on a street where cars fly by and there is no outdoor space for them to use. The cabin could have been more clean as the furniture is old and dirty, there's mold in the shower, and the kitchen -- gross. I cleaned mold and old coffee grinds out of the burnt coffee pot. If you like the charming creaks of old wood, wobbly kitchen tables and steep stairs with hot attic sleeping -- this is the spot for you. Unfortunately the Lake Arrowhead Association, even outside of COVID times, frowns upon renters using the resident lake pass (do not be fooled by this selling point). We were denied access at every stop. Know that there is no where else to spend your time but inside the house. There is no yard/patio -- the one small porch over looks the busy street. Jared was responsive over text with me during our stay, trying to help us find a place we could actually go. We lost an ipad in the home and jared was helpful with letting us double check after we left. There is a stream across the street, which is nice to hear at night.

Relaxing
We had a great time at the property. It had everything we needed. The owner was responsive. It's an older property with a lot of charm and located in the perfect area to walk to the village and the lake. The bottom floor is hard wood and the stairs and 2 upstairs bedrooms are carpet. There is a baby gate available to stop your dog from going up the stairs which came in handy for us. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit (s'mores) which worked great but it was too warm for the fireplace so I can't comment on that. Everything was relaxing and we can't wait to return.

Great cabin/cottage fishing trip
Im use to tent camping and fishing so having a cabin felt like a dream come true to have running hot water for showers, a bathroom when needed, and climate control to keep the place warm during cold weather. Cant complain about a thing, ill be back again.

Just lovely
Our family of four had a wonderful time in Jared's cozy cabin. The place was very quaint, clean and had enough space for us for the night. Wish we could have stayed longer. There even was a christmas tree and christmas panda bear in the living room that made it that much more special. The beds were comfortable and our kids enjoyed their own space upstairs in the loft area. Netflix was available for us to watch a movie together and the house stayed warm with the Nest temperature control and fireplace. Just bring some extra logs for the fire and a lighter just in case. We even had a snowball fight and made our first snowman outside down the road. We just loved it! We plan to return in the summer when we can take advantage of the lake pass!

The cabin is adorable and great sound system for movies. Very very close to the village not a dangerous walk at all. Everything you need for a great stay. Only downside is the refundable deposit they take it right when you book and don’t refund until 10 days after you check out. The company uses your money leaves a bad taste for future visits.

Great cottage, great location
Very nice property, minutes walking distance from water and Lake Arrowhead Village. Great owner to deal with. Absolutely no complaints with this property. But! Be aware that the entire mountain is private property - there are no hiking trails, public parks or areas that are not fenced in and very little to do unless you are on the water. Highly recommended for boaters or water skiers.

April Is Quiet
This is an older property. If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. There are steep, narrow stairs leading up to the house as well as getting up to the second floor. The parking is on the street and there's another narrow street above that dead ends right where your cars are parked. (I was always worried that my car would get hit.) I loved opening the windows and hearing the running water from the small creek across the street. We were disappointed to learn that trails in the area weren't open yet. Great location.

Cozy getaway in Lake Arrowhead head
We had a nice time relaxing in this cozy cabin getaway. The cabin is just a short drive to the lake. It is situated on a quiet street. Definitely a great spot for a family. It was just me and my friend so it was more than enough room. There is one bathroom which is on the main floor. heaters and fans are available upstairs. We appreciated the popcorn, coco and mineral water. The fire took a little time to get going, but it was a nice perk to have a real fireplace. Overall we had pleasant time here.
