Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a great location, quiet and easy to access. The house is decked out with everything you need, and the checkout rules are simple. I appreciated the easy-to-use lock and the nice wide parking spot.

Mountain paradise

The patio outside you can sit and enjoy the nature, bird sounds, breeze through the trees while you can enjoy your favorite drink. Such a paradise to stay. If they have hot tubs outside the patio, it would be heaven. The kitchen is lovely, everything you need has it all. They have all kind of spices you can use. Very interesting. Love so much that they have dish washer. Bed room has king bed and very comfy. The house is very clean and instructions on everything. We appreciate so much that we can laundry. All we would like to say that this cabin is very wonderful and would like to come back again someday if we have a chance. Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful place.

Delighted to have had you guests. So glad you enjoyed our second home and appreciated all of the accessories and accommodating touches. We have made such an effort to provide extras for our guests. The large outdoor deck with spectacular views is one of the special advantages that drew us to this particular cabin. We were so glad we were able to adjust your arrival date to avoid all of the holiday traffic. Coming up to the mountains always breathes a fresh breath into everyone. Shoulders relax and deep breathing returns to be the norm... Come again and enjoy all of the season the mountains have to offer. This summer the free concerts are happening again in the Village, and The Old Santa's Village (now Sky Park at Santa's Village) is as wonderful as ever. And the Lake Arrowhead Queen paddle boat tours are also one of my favorites. Hike, shop, explore and more.... always so much to enjoy. Check out the 3 ring binder we leave under the coffee table for maps, hiking trails, events, restaurants, shopping etc....

Gorgeous mountain retreat

From the detailed information that Candice & Vince provide after booking, to the little touches that make a stay here so peaceful, this cozy cabin checks all the boxes for a relaxing stay in the mountains. The pictures really don’t do the view justice. The balcony looks out to the mountains of Big Bear across a valley. Lovely to listen to the birds & enjoy the view with my morning coffee. The cabin includes great instructions on how to use the fireplace, TV, wifi, even labels on the light switches! I especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with pots & pans, utensils, etc. I also really liked the easy entry that allows parking the car well off the street & has no stairs to navigate when bringing in groceries & luggage. The automatic lock is great since there are no keys to worry about. This cabin gave me exactly what I was looking for in a mountain retreat, and I’ll definitely return again!

Since we get to enjoy the four seasons that the mountains offer we actually change the decor for the four seasons and holidays as well. It is a place that brings us such pleasure and peaceful serenity that we always look forward to our stays there as well.

The property is very nice and well equipped. We were able to cook everything we wanted to and we were warm and comfortable the whole time.

We are delighted to be able to share our second home with such lovely guests. So glad you got to see at least a little dusting of snow for the holidays. Please be sure to come to share all of the seasons the mountains have to offer. As well as the many festivals and events, like the Anitque Wooden Boat and Woodies car show (they are so beautiful! and just amazing to see), the 4th of July Fireworks, make reservations early, the Magnificent Annual Home tour of some of the really outstanding estates in the area, The Pine cone Festival in Blue Jay in the Fall and of course the free Summer concert series in the Village in the evenings, bring your own folding chairs! Memorial Day Weekend is the annual mountain yard sale, all over the area everyone puts out their estate sale items. Find treasures to take home with you. and don't forget the Dogwoods and daffodils blooming in the Spring so much to enjoy!

Delighted to have you back. We are adding and updating from time to time. Just added antique snow shoes to one of the walls.. After Christmas and New Years the decor changes to Spring and Valentines..Then if course Summer... Hope your next trip will include some of the great events held at the Lake..from the Art and Wine Festival with a ride across the lake to the event and it always includes hors d'ouers and a glass of wine...fun day...or the Antique wooden boat show and old woodies cars!!!
