Wedding Weekend
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wedding in the area and this property was perfectly located to downtown lake Geneva and many resorts. The property had two bedrooms upstairs for the kids, one was a loft with two twin beds but worked well to put a pack and play. Property was clean and decorated cutely. Definitely would stay again!

overall excellent with some suggestions
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayHello - we would suggest that there be bedside lamps in the guest bedrooms as there were none. The information regarding the TV remote was somewhat confusing in the book at the home and the TV remote had no batteries. The light on the stairs to the two second floor guest bedrooms did not work, and the smoke detector was not there, just an empty folder.
The kitchen was well appointed. The furniture was comfortable and nicely arranged for conversation. I would highly recommend this accommodation to others. The suggestions we have are relatively minor and easily fixed.

New Year's getaway

The owners are very easy to communicate with and responsive to any questions. This is a well kept and neat house!! We enjoy coming here very much.

Called the owner for the entry code because it wasn’t on the site until the day we had to get in.

I’m sorry you had difficulty accessing the reservation details. I did verify with VRBO that the details were sent out in time and all required check in information was provided ahead of time. I’ve never had someone tell me they couldn’t see or access the reservation information/check in before so it’s very disappointing that we were given such a low rating for that. Especially when we were still accommodating and provided you what you needed and were told how wonderful your stay was when you left. We value feedback and am sorry you didn’t feel you were taken care of.

Perfect home-like feeling
Publié le 26 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis place was perfect for the 5 of us sisters. We had a wonderful time, the place is wonderful with all we needed. It is well stocked in the kitchen, the bath and bedroom supplies were plentiful, and the place is in excellent condition and well maintained. If we ever go to Lake Geneva again, this will be the place we choose to stay! It has been the best VRBO we've had in the few years we've been using them!

Baby shower trip

Did find some nails and screws in the driveway, hoping to not have gotten any in my tires!

Comfortable house in great location

However, there are a few things that could make your stay more enjoyable, such as adding a dresser in the upstairs bedroom that has twin beds. There's no place to put your clothes in that room. Adding lamps to the upstairs bedrooms would also be nice - we brought 2 up from downstairs so we could read. Also, when taking a shower upstairs, the water went completely off for several minutes when a toilet downstairs was flushed. That definitely needs to be fixed.
All in all, it was a comfortable home. We enjoyed sitting outside in the back yard in the morning and evening.

Perfect place for a bachelorette party
Publié le 8 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis was the perfect place for our group of 7 women, celebrating a bachelorette party. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone. It seemed like it would be family friendly too as there was a high chair in the kitchen. The only complaint I can think of is that some of the dishes were not as clean as they could have been. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and I would stay here again!

Enjoyable stay
Publié le 23 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay. It was a mild inconvenience that we could not drink the water but we picked up some bottled water nearby. The location was close to the activities we planned. Note that the room with the twin beds does not have a door that closes because of the odd shape of sloping attic ceiling. It does however feel fairly private because it has a hallway that leads to it and turns a corner. We enjoyed playing the games in the house.
