****As you can see, we are booked most weekends of the year. However, I also own VRBO property 3619562. It is newer, we have upgraded everything to try and duplicate this house, it is slightly smaller, and rental rates are a little lower. Please consider booking at the other property if this one is booked. I can assure that you will receive the same level of service.

This lovely Poconos Lake Harmony Estates chalet has it all: beautifully furnished, cathedral ceilings, stone (gas burning) fireplace, 65" smart TV, high speed WiFi, modern fully equipped kitchen w/granite countertops, massive deck with brand new 6 burner grill, picnic table, and umbrella for entertaining, large secluded fire pit area, outdoor hot tub, basement game room with pool table plenty of seating and a TV for game watching, ping pong table in garage, loft has another TV and a foosball table. Linens and towels ARE included but we recommend bringing extra towels for the lake and/or hot tub. 5 bedrooms with 4 queen beds in 4 rooms and a bunk room with 2 sets of twin over twin bunks. There is also a fold out couch in the pool room. Pets allowed with small pet fee.

Situated in a peaceful setting on a 1/2 acre wooded property, children enjoy watching native animals that routinely walk through the yard. Deer, turkey and other wildlife are commonly seen. Winter evenings offer a view of the slopes at Big Boulder Ski Resort from the large windows in family room.

Staying in the Estates affords you access to a private beach with parking, tennis courts, and a marina key to allow boat access to the lake. The house is about 1/4 mile from the lake beach, 1 mile from Big Boulder Ski Area and Split Rock golf course and a 5-minute drive to Jack Frost Ski resort and golf Course. Camel Back Ski Area and Water Park as well as the Crossings Shopping Outlets are only 20 miles away. Other activities are available at the nearby Split Rock Resort and the Town Center (formally the Galleria) including a movie theatre, indoor water park, arcade, ice cream parlor and bowling alley.

Restaurants are only a few minutes away. Nick's Lake House, Shenanigans, Louie's Prime Steak House, the Split Rock Lodge, the Terra Cottage Cafe and Piggy's are all close. Recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing, biking, climbing, mini-golf, horseback riding, state parks and a dirt bike and ATV riding park are all nearby.

Annual attractions include NASCAR racing, Wine and Food Fest, Blues Fest and Beer Festivals.

Directions: The home is easily accessible from Exit 95 of the PA Turnpike or Interstate 80.

Family vacation
Plenty of room for our group of 8-10. It felt like home. We love the location, we enjoyed kayaking on Lake Harmony, exploring Jim Thorpe, playing local disc golf and hiking to Hawk Falls. The house was a quiet retreat, never heard any noise from neighbors. We enjoyed watching many deer in the yard. The host was quick to respond with our pre planning questions. Once we were there, easy check in. There was plenty of parking. We all enjoyed foosball and the pool table.

Great House. The property provided us with many activities. Great area to walk and get ice cream. Great location near a tennis court that had outline for pickleball. You will need you own net and paddles. Host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Pleasant stay during a rainy week
First, and most importantly, we enjoyed our stay in the chalet. There were 8 of us and the house was big enough to separate, yet when we wanted to be together there was space for that, too. The amenities like the pool table, ping pong table and foosball were high end. We all had as good time using them. Yet, I hate to say it, the chalet wasn't perfect. The beds squeaked (On the main floor one could hear every movement in the bed in the room above), there was a shortage of pillow cases and towels and several attempts to contact the host went unanswered (Though part of the problem seemed to be VRBO not the host). Many options relatively close for things to do in pleasant weather and rainy days, too.

Beautiful, spacious house with great activities
The house has a great location near the lake. It includes lots of game and entertainment areas inside and out. It is accessible to manyarea attractions, while nestled in beautiful, mossy woods. Fawns were sleeping in the yard! Ten of us had plenty of space. We all had such a great time, and highly recommend this inviting retreat.

We arrived at the house late Saturday afternoon to find the house exactly as described in an excellent vacation area. The area had a lot of people staying throughout the neighborhood and, despite most of them being outside, the area was extremely peaceful. The beach access is a short walk down the street. Sunday morning everyone sat outside enjoying the quiet before heading to the race track, which was a quick 15-minute trip. The house was perfectly laid out so we all had our areas for sleeping but could also have meals together or just hang out as a group. The beds were all comfortable with adequate linens and the bonus living room on the top floor had the perfect chairs for reading. All communication with the owners has been very prompt since the beginning. We would stay here again.

Perfect family getaway
Overall we were happy with our stay. There were plenty of activities for the family to keep busy between the fire pit, hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. The only 2 main things missing that we had to buy while there was a cutting board and flat spatula. Otherwise, it provided the necessities while on vacation.

So many activities!
Had an amazing time with a chill bachelor party gathering. We used ALL of the fun activities - pool, ping pong, foosball, and two tvs that we used for video games. Hot tub and fire were great too. So many comfortable beds for everyone and nice couches too. Had such a great time! So much space for everyone to have fun.

Property was nice, check in and check out were seamless, however when the propane for the grill was out, I was unable to get in contact with the property owner, and so had to pay for the propane myself after the office was unable to verify homeowners. Feels kind of ridiculous to have this issue when you're paying more than a fair bit to stay at a place like this, some communication at least would have helped. Not a bad place to stay otherwise, just hope you don't have to

We stayed here with a group of friends. The house was very clean and had all the amenities you would need. A couple of us enjoyed the hot tub. The location of the house was perfect. Not too far from entertainment and Ubers were easily available. We would most definitely stay here again!

Nice Place; Could Use Upgrades
The place was nice and fit everyone well. I liked that I had two hangout rooms, it was close to restaurants, and a lake nearby. Overall, we had a really nice time and would go back when it wasn't so cold. Some items should be addressed for the next renter. We slept in the basement bedroom and it was so uncomfortably cold. In the middle of the night, the water softener hissed like an alarm for 20 minutes. It made a bunch of sounds the next night too that kept waking us up which was aggravating. Everyone else was also very cold as there weren't heating vents in the bedrooms and the place was set to around 50 something when we arrived. It was too cold to play ping pong to use the pool table without our coats on. The TV on the third floor did not work, the hot tub cover bar was rusted through, the oven took forever to heat up, and the porches could use some TLC. Even so, it was a cute place and the living room/kitchen/dining room was perfect for our crowd with very pretty views. I recommend bringing a space heater(s) and earplugs, and avoiding the basement bedroom if you choose to stay.
