I waited 40 minutes to be checked in. Hands down the longest check-in experience I've ever had in a hotel. Too bad, If I had more time I would have spent more money on my dinner.

DO NOT BOOK! Our stay was in July I’ve called multiple times and the Expedia support team tried to reach out to the resort for a refund still NO response or refund.
Full story: I made a last minute reservation with this resort as part of my family reunion trip. The resort is very out dated. Barely any air conditioning at any of the facilities. My room had no A/C and no windows when I requested a new room. I was told the resort was completely booked and maintenance never showed up to fix the A/C. We ended up leaving the hotel and requested a refund.

I did in one night stay, at first I was very skeptical about staying base on the reviews I read, but my husband insisted it's just one night
The checking area was dusty and dirty, the staff was not welcoming no one greeted upon entering the property I realized it was an older resort, but it's no excuse for the filthy check in appearance of the first place you to do your meet and greet. I realized it was for a certain class of people, I would not stay there again or recommend my friends or family to stay there

The room in the pictures is not what we recieved. There was no housekeeping that ever came to our room during our 3 night 4 days stay. Half of the electrical outlets did not work. There were young kids in the hot tubs at all times unattended by adults. Overall not a great experience.

Overall the lodge location was quiet, no interruptions. And very private. However the place needs some serious renovating. The stair case ceiling had water damage on the third floor. There was a pile of garbage and different items pushed to the side. My rooms fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling. You could not see the bottom of the pool, it was very cloudy. The “spa” was an out of order sauna. The bowling alley tables were not clean.
It is a budget friendly place if you are looking to get away. But i would suggest staying at the town center.
