Important Property Notes
• Rumbling Bald Passes. Your home comes equipped with Rumbling Bald Community Passes, which give you access to several activities in the community. We do not manage the Rumbling Bald community amenities, and summertime amenities are only available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Please note, a charge of $25 per pass will be accessed if one becomes lost or misplaced during your stay. Please take care to return all passes at the conclusion of your stay.
• 4WD/AWD Required in Winter: During the winter months (Nov. 1st - Mar 31st) and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is required to access this property. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended.
• Travel Insurance Recommended: During the winter months we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.
• Note that GPS is incorrect for this address, and will take you to the wrong location. Please read over (and print!) our written driving directions before departing on your trip and let us know if you have any questions.
• Noise Ordinance: Big Rock Candy Mountain is located in a resort neighborhood, there is an outside noise ordinance in place after 9:30 PM. We appreciate your cooperation.
• Please be aware that you must complete the Vacation Rental Contract Addendum to stay at this Lake Lure property. If this form is not completed within 24 hours of the Vacation Rental Addendum being signed, your reservation shall be canceled, thank you.
