Offering a commanding view of Lake Lure from its expansive, wrap-around deck, this five-bedroom home is a place to experience the beauty of North Carolina - from spaces both inside and out.

This log home sits on a hillside just above the lake's southwestern shores, with grounds that provide lovely views of the water and the neighboring ridgelines and treetops. It's a scene you can take in from the private hot tub and the shaded lounge and picnic areas on the garden-level patio, as you grill or relax in a rocking chair on the main floor's wrap-around deck, or as you build a fire in the stone firepit encircled by Adirondack chairs.

The air-conditioned interior is a study in comfort and recreation, with natural wood details throughout and generous windows that frame the lake. The great room is a place to watch movies in the warmth of the gas fireplace, play board games around the dining room table, and lend a hand in the open kitchen with its full suite of stainless steel appliances (including a French-door refrigerator and a dishwasher). After-dinner fun awaits in the game room downstairs, which is home to a second gas fireplace, another TV, theater-style recliners, foosball and pool tables, and arcade consoles.

When it's time to turn in, you'll have five bedrooms to choose from, each with cabin-like wood walls and its own TV. Additional amenities include two washer/dryers and free high-speed WiFi for your convenience. An additional perk, this home is decorated for Christmas from November 30th through January 3rd if you choose to book it for your family winter getaway.

Please note that this home is listed as Handicapped Accessible, but not ADA compliant. We are happy to provide more details for those who may need more information about access.

This home is ready and available for renters and was not damaged by Hurricane Helene. We look forward to you coming to enjoy the property.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
An EV charging station is available nearby at the Lake Lure Washburn Marina. (limited access at this time).
There are two washers/dryers (one set on the main floor and one set in the basement).
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina, LLC.

THINGS TO KNOW
Lake Lure is a man made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid April.
-Lake Lure is currently not accessible due to continued clean up from Helene, but the local Lake Lure community welcomes visitors and looks forward to hosting you.
-Please be sure to reach out directly to organizations/businesses f for current hours of operation.

Fabulous Cabin!
This place is awesome! Plenty of room for everyone and so many amenities! Beds were comfortable. View was outstanding, best in the area, when looking out you saw the lake and mountains. So many things to do: game room with pool table, dart board, foosball table, pac man & galaxy games, TV with four reclining chairs & big screen TV and many board games. Fire pit outside was great! Pictures were accurate. Property manager was very helpful and responded to our needs promptly.

Friends weekend
We had a group of 10.5 stay for the weekend in the magical area that is lake lure/chimney rock. The house had everything we wanted and needed and was easy to get to and from. Great communication as well. 7 days later Hurricane Helena came. Our whole group will be cherishing the memories of our trip even more after the detestation Of that storm to this area. We are hopeful that everyone in the area has gotten to safety and that this beautiful house is still standing. Rest assured if it is, we will be back once the area is ready. We want to support the revitalization Of such a magical place.

The home was very beautiful. It accommodated our party of 6 adults and 3 children. We were in Lake Lure for our son’s wedding. The only downfall for us was, even though the deck area was accessible for my husband’s electric wheelchair it was very difficult for him to access the interior of the home due to the transition height from exterior to interior. My son in law had to build a makeshift ramp. Also bathrooms were not accessible we had to purchase additional items to accommodate him. Unless a transitional ramp is provided and unless toilet isn’t changed to an approved ADA height, this home is not a truly a handicapped accessible home and should not be listed as such. Overall, we had a positive experience and enjoyed the home . Thank you, Rod and Carol DeVoid

Beautiful home with beautiful view ‼️ This home had everything we needed and then some. It is a short distance to all the attractions in the area. We enjoyed being at the house, enjoying the view and chilling. I highly recommend this home with kids because the downstairs has everything kids and adults will enjoy.

Great Sons in Law BOYS WEEKEND
outstanding five bedroom, four bath luxury cabin overlooking the lake, within 3 miles of the Lake Lure beach and close to grocery and restaurant options. Even though we were four grown men, this would be a GREAT OPTION for four couples in the main bedrooms and four kids in the bunkbeds. Host was easy to work with superb communication.

Beautiful home, great location
This is our 4th Thanksgiving week spent in the mountains and this is our overall favorite so far. The home is clean, updated and most importantly very spacious and comfortable. We had 8 adults and 3 children and everyone had the space they needed. The common areas are large enough to accommodate all of us to gather together comfortably. The kitchen is well appointed and we had everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The views are outstanding!! The property is beautiful and laid out with care. The fire pit area has views of the lake and seating. The hot tub was hot and clean. The proximity to a grocery store was a big plus (less than 5 minutes away), along with Chimney Rock, Hendersonville and Asheville. I recommend this home for any travel plans you may have.

This is a nice home in a good location for a family vacation. The home has a beautiful view and lots of activities for everyone. There is lots of restaurants, hiking, activities, etc for a family trip. I would definitely stay at this home again.

I booked this cabin for our extended family trip over spring break. I have used vrbo for years for booking and this is the most amazing home we have ever stayed in. The pictures do not do this property justice! The house is so beautiful, smelled clean, and was spotless! (trust me I thoroughly check these things) It was stocked so well with everything we needed from the kitchen cabinets to the fire starters and lanterns. The kids and adults LOVED the movie/game room! We made some great memories that week and we will absolutely stay there again. I can’t say enough great things about this property!

The Bentley at Lake Lure
Beautiful, well-appointed home! Clean & comfortable with wonderful amenities & entertainment options. Close to everything you want & need. The only suggestions I would have - change out the seating either upstairs or downstairs for a huge sectional. The home easily sleeps 12 people, but there was nowhere for that many family members to all sit comfortably together & talk or watch a movie in the evenings after a day of activities. But the huge kitchen & dining table were great for our large group that enjoyed cooking many of our own meals! Would definitely recommend this home - just bring extra camp chairs if you like to fellowship together!

Beautiful Cabin & Location
Our family of 10 enjoyed this cabin and location very much. The cabin was beautiful, spacious had comfortable beds and was clean. Overall, I think we would stay again if some of the issues were addressed. 1-The top bunk bed mattresses are too thick and unsafe for small children. They are taller than the rail. 2- We needed more than 2 dish towels in the kitchen. 3- No instructions were provided for the gas fireplace so we were unable to use them. 4- Every house has its quirks, it would be good to know how some things work ahead of time so guests don’t struggle with them like the fans, lights, blinds, etc. 5- The Wifi extenders did not reach the bedrooms but we were able to use it in the common areas for the most part. 6- Some hangers in the closet would be appreciated. These were minor annoyances but I wanted to call them out to make the next guests rental experience better. The property manager was responsive and helped addressed other issues such as a missing coffee pot (they have both coffee pot and keurig but it would have been good to know ahead of time), replaced battery on automatic blind in the Loft Bedroom, and brought us propane for the gas fire pit that was out. Lake Lure was a charming town and we would love to visit again. The cabin offered many recreational activities that you will want to take time to enjoy. We loved the game room, hot tub, recliner couches, the beautiful decor and the view.
