Cozy Property
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is spacious and cozy. It could use just a little "facelift" in certain areas and supplies, but everything was comfortable. The Property Manager's attention was excellent considering we had "bear" visits and rode out Hurricane Helene there!

Beautiful Place to Stay
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our time at this cabin. It was beautiful and had everything you needed for a great stay. My kids loved the beach area and fishing off the dock in the resort. We also had great experiences with Lake Lure Adventures, Canopy Ridge, and Lake Lure Outdoors.

Great property with resort-like benefits
Publié le 15 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and our 3 children wanted a place to enjoy a long weekend. We could not have been more pleased with this wonderful rental. This cabin is set in Rambling Bald and had so many amenities, but being at the top of the mountain (about a 5 minute drive) still made you feel like you were in a secluded cabin. The views were beautiful, the beds were comfortable (in fact, this is one of the first trips where my neck & back didn’t hurt at all!), the cabin was cozy, the master bathtub was amazing, and the rental property managers were quick to respond and help!
Rambling Bald had an indoor & outdoor pool, basketball courts, tennis, golf, outdoor lawn games, a spa, mini golf, and two restaurants (one was closed as it is seasonal.), and a beautiful hiking trail - and of course Lake Lure/beach! There was so much to enjoy! Don’t miss the chance to visit Victory Kitchen (right outside Rambling Bald Gates) as it has some amazing breakfast!
Overall, this was exactly what we needed! Thank you for the wonderful trip, we definitely recommend that you check this cabin out!

Wonderful Vacation Home!
Publié le 19 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely enjoyed our week day in August at this property! This house has everything you need and more! The beds were so comfortable and it sits at the top of the mountain with only one other house on the road. The master bathroom and bedroom was absolutely luxurious and amazing. We enjoyed the comfy living room and screened porch. The resort is amazing and has so many things to do. We had great communication with the property manager and she provided helpful information for our stay. We took a short walk down the road by the house and did encounter a big black bear that came right off the mountain and crossed right in front of us but ran off when it saw us. We also saw a group of wild turkeys on the drive down the mountain. We really enjoyed our trip and have fell in love with this resort! We hope to return soon! Highly recommend this property!

Perfect place to get away from it all
Publié le 5 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayBeautiful, modern, ultra private home. Located within the trees at the top of the mountain. Crisp cool air at night and a crackling fireplace made this get away one we would definitely come back to.

Before School Getaway

Comfortable and Good Location
Publié le 10 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen is well stocked, furniture comfortable. The master bed/bath is very large and almost luxurious. Upstairs bedroom(s) are fine but probably best for kids.
