Beautiful lake
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was nice inside. There was not much in the way of explanation or instructions concerning the area and how to get around the Resort. Once we figured everything out, we did enjoy our stay.

Great for large families
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat home and in great condition. Room for a large family or multiple families. Everything we needed was available in the house. Management was friendly and responsive. This area of Lake Lure is pretty far away from things, so plan ahead if staying here or hit up the only grocery store (Ingles) when you arrive.

Cozy yet spacious find
Publié le 20 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was perfect for our long weekend getaway with 6 teens. It boasts 3 different sitting areas and the game room was a huge hit. Plenty of room at the large dining room table and island! We would stay here again. I so appreciated the clear communication with the property manager, as well.

Exactly as advertised

The house was large enough for each couple to have their own space and the common areas were easily accommodated all of us. When we've stayed in the area in the past, the home's we've rented always had amazing mountain views. When we booked I thought this would be a drawback to this property, but I was wrong. Although we didn't have those classic views, the piece and tranquility of being surrounded by nature was an experience all in itself. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place with plenty of room
Publié le 15 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis place was very well appointed with comfortable beds and more than enough room to accommodate 6 teenagers who loved the ping pong table and the pool table. Location was convenient to the lake. We had a problem with the grill one night and it was replaced the very next day. Great communication regarding check-in, check out, and any hiccups along the way. Loved the facilities at the resort and used all of them. Didn’t feel overcrowded and we went during a busy week of July. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
The only things to be aware of: 1) very steep driveway—manageable but may be difficult for some vehicles 2) You are not really close to a grocery store or restaurants (though there is a convenience store close by for things you’ve forgotten) but you’ll want to hit the grocery store 20 minutes away before you get to the house. 3) We were disappointed in the supplies of the kitchen. Clearly it was well-stocked at some point, and there were lots of plates and cups, but the other supplies appear picked through and some crucial things were missing: a baking pan, a sharp knife, grilling utensils, etc. We made it work, but will likely need to be refreshed soon. 4) When you’re reading about bears as part of the paperwork when you first enter—This is for real. Do not put any garbage outside in the garbage can. We had a bear right up under the porch the first night (our own fault), but clearly he’s been there before.
Overall a great trip!

Lake Lure getaway!
Publié le 14 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe trip was great! We enjoyed the house, especially the basement area. I have only two small complaints. First, one bedroom has only a twin with a crib, not great when everyone in your party is a couple. Also, Rumbling Bald is a nice area but there are no towels provided at the beach area. It would be great to have beach towels at the house, in light of that.

We send an email out to each guest before their arrival date called "Know before you go" which list we only provide bath linens. Multi family stay

Resort was over rated
Publié le 6 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was nice. Had plenty of everything. We were even surprised to find kid toys, plates and utensils.
The resort was underwhelming! Not worth it at all. Amenities were way too small for the number of people. It was crazy on July 3rd/4th. They must have sold day tickets to the community. Everyone was on top of everyone at the lake. You couldn’t even walk into the water. The pool was at capacity and wouldn’t let anyone in. There was a fee for everything else. Even a drink on the beach cost $11. We rented the house due to the amenities and I would not rate them very high at all. If you are planning a family vacation then find a more family friendly resort.
