Lake Mills in late October
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLake Mills is a quaint town with a great central location to a great many areas. It’s quiet and very lovely. The streets roll up at 5:00 pm on a Saturday night, yet if you are seeking nightlife it’s quite close by. The colors on the trees were incredible and driving country lanes, enjoying no traffic and seeing nothing but beauty is a pleasant way to spend time with family.

Lose sleep & bare minimums
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were travelling on business and would arrive late; ZERO response from the owner, after sending a few questions. The condo was clean and the furniture was comfortable. However, we wanted to relax in front of the fireplace on the first rainy night but learned upon arrival it was disconnected from 3/15 to 9/15. There were a BARE MINIMUM amount of towels (two per bathroom and only ONE kitchen towel) There also was no iron/ironing board. We were here on business and needed to freshen our packed clothes. Instructions for check out required us to strip our beds and carry to laundry area!!! We had to leave for the airport at 6:30 and with this ridiculous requirement had to get up earlier to strip our beds!!! What does the housekeeping fee cover?? I lost sleep. I also couldn't reach the toaster in a cabinet nor most of the plates as there was no kitchen step stool and up high is where items were placed. However, it seems from the Evolve response, that after you find available dates, right location, find the right amount of beds and bathrooms, we should be confirming basic amenities like irons, and perhaps coffee makers and extra towels and blankets.

Hi Stephanie,We take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:Kitchen items are in cabinets at normal height, with the crockpot in the pantry.We provide two full rolls of paper towels and a kitchen hand towel.The fireplace is inactive in summer to avoid excess heat affecting the a/c.There is no minimum check-in time for late arrivals; the entry and address are lit at night.We added two more bath towels per bathroom (total of eight), an iron, ironing board, distilled water, an extra dish towel, and a step stool.Please always reach out to the guest contact during your stay if you have any issues and we will address them as quickly as possible. Thank you again for providing such valuable feedback.
