Would definitely look to book again in the future. Great location as well. No negatives whatsoever. A privilege to stay in.

Best Lake Placid VRBO

I was hesitant to be away for Christmas day, but found John’s home to be the perfect “home away from home” for our family! Great location, immaculate unit, and it had everything from a stocked kitchen to cozy bedrooms to make our stay perfect! My family will always remember this as one of our favorite Christmas experiences. We had fun iceskating, cross country skiing and downhill at Whiteface. We can’t wait to return!!!

Beautiful House - Good Location

The house was well-maintained, providing a clean and comfortable place throughout our stay. The location was perfect with just a short distance (about 5 min) from town, making it easy to explore local restaurants and shops.
The communication with the host was smooth and prompt. They were very responsive and made sure all our needs were met. We appreciated the thoughtful touches in the home that made it feel welcoming and cozy.
Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and hassle-free stay. We would definitely return!

Wonderful visit to Lake Placid Getaway
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayJohn & Heather’s home was lovely. Photos don’t do it justice. Immaculate, well stocked and close to town! So nice to enjoy the fireplace and take in the beautiful views from the front porch. Hope to return soon!

Perfect peaceful and active getaway
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is just as advertised - spacious , clean , perfectly decorated with the mountain vibe , everything you ever needed available. Communication with the owner wonderful . We can’t to visit again - this location is peaceful and very close to all of the fun activities! Kayaking , bobsledding , coaster ride , boating , hiking , golfing , shopping , dining ..it has it all ! Thank you RUDICKs !

wonderful month long stay!!
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwaymy husband & i stayed in this wonderful property for 1 month. john was an amazing host, even researched a vegan restaurant for us! the home was exactly as pictured, fabulously quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Main St. easy drive to all the tourist attractions. front porch was heavenly! house had absolutely everything that we needed for the entire month!!

Weekend Getaway

Eclipse viewing

Lake Placid was very crowded, We could walk downtown with needing a car, or stay at the house away from the crowds. The home is very inviting day and night, with comfortable beds and nice kitchen. The living room allowed for comfortable conversation, or collective TV viewing. There was a recreation room downstairs that would have been great for kids, but we never used it. Very nice place.

Perfect Vacation Home

It is exactly like the photos; warm, bright and inviting. John is communicable, knowledgeable about the area and was very accommodating. All around, our stay was wonderful. This is going to be our 1st pick for future stays in LP.
